Vol. 2, No. 41 – Monday, 9th October, 2017
(Heb.10:35-36, Gen.21:1-8)

Ever heard or read about the old fabled story of the lost egg in the sea? The fable informs that once upon a time there was a mother-hen. On one unfortunate moment whilst this mother-hen was on the shore of the sea, her only egg was suddenly carried away to the depth of the sea by an unexpected surge of water torrent.

In absolute despair, the mother-hen wailed for assistance. But not even the strongest or tallest of humanity could offer a single help. Then one came along who informed  mother-hen to rather pray to God , be patient with Him until He, the Almighty comes by.

True to that wise counsel, mother-hen prayed and watched in patience. Unprepared and unexpected one day, God indeed came by, and with the infinite hands of divinity, the Almighty stretched His hands into the depth of the sea and took out the lost egg.

Like happy mother Sarah of the Bible, what mother-hen thought was never to be, then became a reality song. The poem below was forwarded to me shortly before the start of this edition of The Message Now. I suppose it will bless your hearts and prepare you to be patient for God. Your patience will never end in regret, in Jesus name.

A New Song

My sun is rising again (twice)

Thank you my ABBA Father

My sun is rising again –My joy shall flow again twice

Thank you my ABBA Father

Mine shall flow again.

My mountains shall be gone (twice)

Thank you my ABBA Father

The mountains shall be gone- My rain is falling again (twice)

Join me shout alleluia – My rain is falling again.

If you have thought that God has neglected you in that situation; you made a big error. Such is not the character of the Almighty. For if such were to be part of the attributes of God, then why will God be known as the most faithful One?

You may have concluded that the year 2017 is gone like ever other year. Sarah also at age eighty-nine must have thought that it was all over. But did not a divine surprise visit her situation just when she was ninety years old? There is but about two months left in the year 2017; isn’t it? A lot can yet happen by and from God for your good before December 31.

Again, I wish to remind you that there is but about two months left. The entire universe was created within a space of six days and you and your entire situation are but an infinitesimal fraction of God’s created universe. Why then will it take the Almighty a micro-second to turn around your fortune? Don’t worry your heart; remain focused and be patient.

The quietness of God on your situation is not an indication of divine forgetfulness but rather it is an indication that He is quietly dotting the I’s and the T’s of your life for the eventual best. The fact is this: most men do not know that patience is a test condition for the delivery of God’s blessings. Therefore patience is to be embraced and enjoyed, not endured and murmured against (See Heb.10:35-36).

Dearly beloved, if anything is sure about your present situation, that surety is that unknown to you God is working on your case. God is coming by: your sun will rise again, your joy shall flow and your rain of blessings shall sufficiently fall more than once.
