Scripture: Deuteronomy 28:1-13;

Ask with a genuine and penitent heart for God’s mercy tonight;
Read Ps. 50 aloud, and then bring quality worship to the God of all flesh.
Confession :(say)O God, hear my voice in your mercy tonight. Before my days be wasted away by the seen and the unseen forces that wickedly hold me tight. O Lord, let the power of your word arise on my behalf and do the impossible and incredible in my life and destiny tonight. O Lord, your word says: ‘thus saith the Lord of hosts; the children of Israel and the children of Judah were oppressed together; and all that took them captive held them fast; they refused to let them go. Their redeemer is strong; The Lord of hosts is His name; He shall thoroughly plead their cause, that He may give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon’. Therefore, let all my scorners be put to shame this month. In your divine wisdom, subdue the knowledge of the wicked. Blindfold their monitoring instruments and bypass their greatest skill and deliver my blessings to me.

O new moon, by the power of the Almighty, gives me an extra-measure of all the blessings due to me by grace since the start of 2016, in the name of Jesus. O thou Cross of the Lamb of God, you bore my suffering and shame. Since Christ was hung on you, a new life and destiny was delivered to me through the saving knowledge of God, the Most high. Therefore, thou power of the cross of Christ, remove far from me suffering and shame.

O thou Cross of the Lamb of God, heal my foundation and destiny tonight. By this Cross, the reproach of mankind was taken away, o thou power of the Cross of Christ, cause all my reproach to perish. Let a new day dawn upon me, in Jesus name, Amen.

Pray now:

You evil foundation harassing my destiny, your end has come. I break away from you now and forever, in the name of Jesus.
You voices from the grave, covens and evil foundations saying no to my joy, be silenced forever and die now, in the name of Jesus.

Anything good that have been snatched from my hands by evil foundations, o blood of Jesus recover them for me tonight in the name of Jesus.
O Great God, heal my foundation tonight with the blood of Jesus.
(Exodus.23:28), Hornets of the living God, arise, scatter and sting to death the powers from every coven warring against my life and destiny.
O God, in your name and by your strength, I summon an emergency meeting of the wicked that are after me and after my progress in the name of Jesus.
Now in your meeting tonight, I command you in the name of Jesus to deliver back to me every good thing you have taken from me and from my foundation.
O you first night of November, speak greatness, blessings, favour and limitless victory from God into my life, in the name of Jesus.
O waste of time, destiny and glory, have you succeeded so far? By the power of God, you shall succeed no more in my life, in the name of Jesus.
O God let your good promises in Zechariah 8:12 and Exodus1:7 become real in my life this month, in the name of Jesus.

Voices from evil altars and foundations dictating my pace, be silenced forever by the fire of the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus.
Precious things brought forth by the sun, glorious things put forth by the moon, locate me now, in the name of Jesus.
Father, Let my testimonies appear by your mercy in the name of Jesus.
Thorns and arrows of the wicked attacking my divine feet, catch fire in the name of Jesus.
15. Heal my character and any wrong attitude in me; make me better o God.

O God, what is in me or around me hindering my testimonies, thou o God that answered Elijah by fire, hear me and let my moments of joy come speedily, in Jesus name, Amen.

A Turning Point

A Turning Point Moment onto the God of Heaven

Renaissance is a word best associated with the transition period between medieval era and modern times. At best, dark is the most apt word for describing especially the beliefs of medieval era. For instance, in medieval times, there was firm belief on the progenitor of witches, demons and disabled people called incubus.

The incubus is a male demon that seeks to have sexual intercourse with sleeping women. The corresponding demon in the female form is the succubus. In medieval days, witches, demons and deformed human-beings were deeply believed to be direct offsprings of the incubus.

Whilst this ministry is incomplete disagreement with the medieval belief about the birth of witches, demons and physically-challenged people, the ministry rather strictly believes that upon salvation of the soul of man, there has been a transition from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of God’s ‘Dear Son’ (see Col.1:13). This is what the ministry terms spiritual renaissance.

In the ministry’s belief and doctrine, connection with the Lord Jesus provides that defining moment which always goes to mark a major turning point in a man’s life and history. As such, the interest of this section of the website is to showcase on a monthly basis videos of outstanding testimonies of men as well as the reality of heaven and hell. The underlying agenda here is: (1) to effect change in all-and sundry, (2) to bring men to the saving knowledge of Christ and to win our world for Him, and (3) to inform everyone that nothing replaces God.

Transiting from penury to immeasurable wealth

Wealth and wealth creation is a conscious and intellectual architecture by the mind of man foremostly for the man and others (and indeed), for the nation and for the global world depending on the scale of the conceived or the architectured idea and the latitude of the conceiver’s vision.

Wealth and wealth creation is never at its best as a function of descendency from parental heritage or what I call divine design by reason of a conferred gift. Do not get me wrong; divine assistance is good and desiredly pleasurable. It will however interest you to know that even with divine design, diligence is key.
Diligence, I have defined elsewhere to mean, the conscious pursuit of a desired goal with an avowed determination to succeed. In the instance of wealth and wealth creation, there arises the question, how? Hear the way an intelligent man, Adam Smith, aptly captured all these in his seminal work, ‘The Wealth of Nations’.

Adam Smith, whilst examining wealth and wealth creation from a larger picture opined, ‘the annual produce of the land and labour of the society. This produce is at its simplest, that which satisfies human needs and wants of utility. In popular usage, wealth can be described as an abundance of items of economic value, or the state of controlling or possessing such items, usually in the form of money, real estate and personal property. An individual who is considered wealthy, affluent, or rich is someone who has accumulated substantial wealth relative to others in their society or reverence group’.

Do you agree with this fine description of wealth and wealth creation? Whether you agree or not (as some differently do with a section rather preferring Alfred Martial and Professor Lionel C. Robin’s) opinion on the subject, one fact is sure. Did you hear Adam Smith refer to the word ‘labour’? In the wealth and wealth creation process, that labour is of a binocular phase. One is the intellectual phase. The other is physical exertion mingled with determination often called hardwork.

Proverbs 22:29 is further instructive in this connection. It reads: ‘seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men’. Notice the phrase: ‘in his business’ not in another man’s conceived or architecture business. Learn a great lesson from King Solomon. Would King Solomon have missed the mark if experience was his teacher as it was to his father, King David? Would King Solomon have been easily swayed by pomp and pageantry if the wealth gained by him were not largely through inheritance and limitless gifts? Would he not have gained more credits in the end especially before God if his father’s architecture vision inherited by him had his personal input of some sort?

If anyone reading this article had it all rosy and smooth en route obtaining his/her school/apprenticeship certificate, then such an individual cannot appreciate the worth of such certificate. What does this mean?

If wealth flowing from inheritance or gift will be sustained by the beneficiary, then the beneficiary’s diligence and intellectual input must be brought to bear. The absence of diligence and intellectual input is the beginning of the end. The ship of such wealth in not long a time is pacing very fast for a huge rock for a resulting fatal crash.

It is therefore safe to assert that the greatest problems of wealth and wealth creation by man is the inability to independently think and the absence of creativity or creative drive. Year 2016 is far spent and indeed ended already. There is no denying the obvious that most of us struggled financially this outgoing year. Could it be that God has failed in answering our prayers.

The answer requires no torturous research. It is simply NO!!! Who then failed? Everyone except God. What then is the way out? Eight recipes.
Dearly beloved, the recipes below must be strictly ahered to if we don’t want the new (incoming year) to be a replica of the old (and outgoing year).

Recipe 1:shun this satanic dependency-attitude of living from pay cheque to pay cheque. This is especially common with us salary earners.

Recipe 2: shun the ungodly attitude of too much sleep. Every time lost cannot be regained. And if regained in some way, it is not without negative effects on other pursuits of life.

Recipe 3: cultivate the culture of reading quality books, watching informative and educating documentaries and carrying out enterprise-research on the internet. I wonder what reading flipppant novels and watching profligate movies does to you! Stop this nonchalant attitude of resting before actual work is done.

Recipe 4: sit down and think. Must life continue in the same pattern?

Recipe 5: avoid shifting blame. Put the blame where it belongs. It is not government failure but largely ours. Why?
Neither good or bad government, background or people can eradicate poverty. It is a disease of and in people’s minds; its antidote therefore is the people’s mind themselves. So, on our part, let us be the first to hate poverty.

Recipe 6: get your own vocation running along with your secular job. Avoid nothingness. Pray more earnestly for your self-employed vocation. It is no evil to pray for one’s secular white collar job. However, remember that the blessings must of necessity land on something not on vacuum. So, when you pray down God’s blessings, do the blessings fall on nothing, on your government given job or on your personal enterprise?

If on nothing, then your effort in prayer is no more than a waste. If on government-given-job, then to some degree, you are short-changing yourself. This is because after the blessings descend from God, they land on the government who in turn determines what portion of those blessings you get because your level in government-given-job determines the portion of your blessing from your heavenly Father!!! More often than not, even with the attainment of the highest level in governmental employment, it is a statement of fact that the hardworker’s monthly pay does not merit his/her meritorious monthly service.
But if the blessings descend on your architectured vocation/enterprise, then the blessings are all yours. I ask you then, where do you stand in all of these? Ecclesiastes 11:3 rightly informs us that ‘if the clouds be full of rain,they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall towards the south or towards the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be’.

I ask you further then, are you a rightly-positioned-earth ready for God’s blessings? The blessings of God have their targets. When they are posted from heaven’s post office, do you have a targetable vocation to receive them? Remember that poor widow had a vessel of oil not an empty one (see 2 Kings.4:1-7).

Recipe 7: never doubt yourself. You are your greatest enemy when you doubt your abilities. Even if you don’t have a required ability, never believe in non-achievement in your heart nor confess it with your mouth.

Recipe 8: love the Lord and obey Him. Live pure and live clean. Stop short-changing yourself by eating up your seed.

Psalm 112:1-3 says: ‘…….. blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in His commandment. His seed shall be mighty upon earth; the generation of the upright shall be blessed. Wealth and riches shall be in his house; and his righteousness endureth forever’.

Eating your seed means living in vacuum, in the no fear of God and in no readiness for the planting season. The end-result will not be wealth or created wealth. It will be penury, famine, complaining, robbery against God and financial death.

In sum therefore dearly beloved, to do wrong or to do the most needful is a choice.

1. Repent from every known and unknown sin that has led to financial struggle or misfortune of any kind.

2. The Lord showed me a cheque belonging to somebody, and I decree that this cheque will not hang nor be held up in satanic traffic any more, in Jesus name, Amen.

3. O God, by the strength of your right hand, recover for me every blessing lost through sleep or through dreams.

4. Evil hands snatching my breakthroughs wither now in the name of Jesus.

5. I will not carry-over any evil, misfortune or failures of this year into the new year in Jesus name.

6. You serpent lying on the eve of December 2016, be smitten by God’s sword of fire.

Ever think of that comment that will summarise your life after you are gone?

The edition of this magazine ended last week with the poser: what testamentary disposition otherwise called a Will, will be credited to your attitude after you are gone? Every man’s life is a testament before the visible light of humanity as well as the invisible and unmistaking search light of divinity. What message is the light of your life sending to God and man?

John Wesley, born in 1703 and died in 1791, lived an enviable life of absolute surrenderedness to the Most High. At the end of his stay in this passing world, his biographical account read as follows: “he (Wesley) lead a life of persecution and tribulation but remained faithful to God’. No wonder, his legacy and calling remained alive even afterwards. Further, no wonder that legacy and calling produced a special son after his spiritual, holiness passion about a century and half later in the person of Apostle W.F Kumuyi. lndeed, credited to Westley’ final account was the fact that his devotion to God made him so void of all of life’s pleasure that after his death his Will contained only the following:

1)Set of spoons,

2)Few plates and

3)A group of five hundred thousand converted followers known as the Methodist sect.

Perhaps this edition of the magazine sounds boring to you. Well, this is a sure sign that there is work to be done by you and the Lord in your life. Our salvation is not just an expression of faith. Rather, it is more evidenced and needful in our character-change. The Bible enjoins us in Matthew 3:8 to ‘bring therefore fruits meet for repentance’. The question is, are we?

Dearly beloved, it is said that show me your friend and l will show you who you are. I ask the question then, who is your mentor? Whose life appeals to you the most? What are your basic interests? Do your future plans include God, the feelings of other men about your actions? Are you swift to admitting your fault and often ready to make amends for any wrong? Do you stop a moment sometimes and remind yourself that an invisible eye is watching your thoughts and actions? Consider the mathematical proposition below and let it bless your hearts.

Imagine a circle (round object) in your mind’s eye. Get a ruler and divide that circle into two equal parts. What do you get? The answer is: two halves properly so-called in mathematical terms, two semi-circles. Divide the two semi-circles into two equal parts. What results from that division? The answer is simply four quadrants. However, notice that the four quadrants still contains four curve (at right-angle triangle) because the quadrants originally emanates from a circle. Now, let’s imaginatively trim out the four curves of the four quadrants. What do We arrive at mathematically? The most likely answer is four equal isosceles triangles.

Pastor, what does this mean? Are we now in a mathematics class? Or is this mathematics journal in disguise? Hmmm!

Dearly beloved, permit me to draw a somewhat spiritual philosophy by equating this mathematical proposition with four quadrangular relationships of man and himself, man and other people, other people and man, and man, other people and God. What does this mean? To start with, there are four universal isosceles search lights monitoring you and me. Their spiritual- mathematical calculations on our character more often than not contains no single error.

First isosceles search light: there is what a man knows about himself that humanity (other people) don’t know but God does. Second, there is that which a man knows about himself, other people do and God also does. Third, there is that which men don’t know about themselves, other people do and God does too. Fourth, there is that which no one knows about himself, other people too do not know but God always knows. At the end of it all, you may only hide your character as far as you can but not farther than God.

I am reminded of that poem by Robert Herrick. He says:

Gather ye rosebuds while ye may,

Old Time is still a-flying

And this same flower that smiles today,

Tomorrow will be dying.

The glorious lamp of heaven, the sun,

The higher he’s a-getting the sooner

Will his race be run

And nearer he’s to setting.

That age is best which is the first

When youth and blood are warmer

But being spent, the worse, and worst times still succeed the former.

Then be not coy, but use your time,

And while ye may, go marry;

For having lost but once your prime

You may forever tarry.

To all-and-sundry, this is my plea. Now is the time for re-examination. Now is the time to flag positive change. Tomorrow is too near and may be too late. Please that brother, avoid taking bribes. The Lord is beaming His search light at everyone. He knows what no man knows.

O God, forgive me for the sins I have committed against you, against myself and against other people.

O God, let not the devil write the last chapter of my life.

O God my father, break me and remould me into your delight.

O dear father, I am in need and deficient in both spiritual, financial, physical, marital, etc, aspects of my life (list out those needs to the Lord and pray today by 12noon, 3pm and 6pm).

Every power draining my virtues die in Jesus name.

(Isaiah.54:16) You waster, be consumed by fire and die now in Jesus name.

Ever think of that comment that will summarize your life after you are gone?

An e-mail forwarded to me at about 2007 read as follows: ‘God determines who walks into your life. You determine whom you let stay or who you let go’. There are countable individuals in my path of destiny today. Their contribution is most cheering. My essay on them cannot but appear in the brightest colors of gold. But will the same comment summarize you and me from the lips of others?

One of the most astute English politicians of the 20th Century (and indeed the longest Premier in service so far in British history), the iconic iron lady, Margaret Thatcher was asked a most thoughtful question in what I consider a star question in a sensational interview a number of years ago. The seemingly ecstatic interviewer quipped: If you happen to reincarnate and find yourself back on planet earth, who would you like to become? The iconic Iron Lady’s response was such that would leave any deep-thinking, intelligent Nigerian in a mire of absolute shame.

The former Prime Minister satirically replied, ‘I would like to become a Nigerian politician in a country where any thing goes’. More recently, in 2016, another former British Prime Minister, David Cameron in a meeting with the Queen of England described Nigeria as a nation which is ‘fantastically corrupt’.

If this is what Nigeria and Nigerian politicians are noted for and remembered by, then an intelligent mind should pose the question, what is the worth of image and integrity to Nigerians in general, Nigerian Politicians in specificity and Nigerian Christians in some particular respects. If in our most conscious minds as Christians, ‘image is nothing’ (as a particular brand commonly advertises), and if in our opinion the value of integrity is equal to the memory of the meal eaten by us back in yesteryears, then we, the children of the Most High are not worth our salt before God our father.

It should therefore give us the greatest concern what comment will summarize our stay in this transitory life after our departure. Learn another lesson today from this: the most comforting joy of our departing moments in life are the regurgitating memories and thoughts about the mistakes we never made in our youthful days and in the periods of our prime.

There are many men whose feet have treaded the sands of time, leaving behind no single indelible mark. The same cannot be said of Mahatma Gandhi (the father of modern India). At his death in 1948, the then Indian Prime Minister, Pandit Nehru had this memorable comment to summarize an illustrious life so very well spent. Nehru solemnly opined: ‘the light is gone out of the world, and we are now in darkness. The father of the nation is no more’. What an admirable description of a man who was of the Hindu religion!

Hmmm! Am I a light to my world? Am I a fuel fanning divine fire into godly fervor and unquenchable heavenly furnace? Are the ‘cloud of witnesses’ beckoning from on high rejoicing because of my gallant effort here on earth? Humanity and divinity are watching you and me, steadfastly and speechlessly looking on as though there shan’t some day emerge an eternal comment. Their silence is only so loud for the moment. Their carol or condemning comment will soon be evidenced on the marble, be it by mortal humanity or the immortal fingerprints of the Great King.

I cannot draw the curtain on this episode of ‘The Message Now’ without reference to William Butler Yeats. In his very alluring poem: ‘when you are old’, originally addressed to his intended narcissistic lover, Maud Gonne, Yeats warns everyone to be most mindful of the twilight of our lives. He says:

‘When you are old and grey and full of sleep,

And nodding by the fire, take down this book,

And slowly read, and dream of the soft look

Your eyes had once, and of their shadows deep;

How many loved your moments of glad grace,

And loved your beauty with love false or true,

But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you,

And loved the sorrows of your changing face;

And bending down beside the glowing bars,

Murmur, a little sadly, how Love fled

And paced upon the mountains overhead

And hid his face amid a crowd of stars’.

I ask you dear child of God, what testamentary disposition otherwise called a will will be credited to your attitude after you are gone? (to be continued next Monday).

Taking full advantage of heaven’s resources dear Christian?

Distinct from allegories, true-life-accounts have a way of impacting us the more. In effect and in essence, their information are by far more emotionally-attaching. As such, they last much longer in our memories. I hope the account below and its adjoining lessons bring you some good.

A man lay sick in his bedchamber for many days. His most caring wife having attended to his needs that morning was then so busy in another part of their apartment. With so much to do with chores, she ran the chores as fast but equally as dutifully too.

The intention for her swiftness in completing the morning’s home assignment was obvious. It was in order to resume the more important duty of attending to her sick husband. In the midst of the hygene and emotional concerns, something happened.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. A close associate of the family from an adjacent apartment was standing at the door. He looked petrified as though he had just been electrified by some sort of unexplainable bewilderment.

After some effort following the containment of his emotions, he questioned the woman softly. ‘Where is your husband’? The wife of the sick man who was now standing in full glare outside the door, not wanting to be insolent replied quietly but reluctantly. ‘You are well aware of his long-time illness. You are also aware that his illness has kept him out of every public activity for so long. So, he cannot be anywhere else but in his room’.

At her comment, the man stood speechless resuming his bewilderment all over again. Then softly, he dropped the bomb-shell. ‘I saw your husband step out of the house with two men in white apparel; one on each side of your husband. Subsequently, the three took about two steps forward and then vanished into the sky’.

On hearing this, the woman immediately dashed back into the house to check her husband. To her surprise and somewhat relief from anguish, her husband was there. On further check however, it soon became apparent to her that his soul and spirit had passed-on. Her husband had just departed to begin his eternal rest in glory.

Sirs and madams, will you truly be ready when the Master shall come or send His angels to pick you? Please pray these prayer points now.

O God, in your mercy and by your grace, help me to be ready when you send for me.
O God my father, make me rapturable at all times.
O God my father, help me to know my guardian angels and identify their voices.

Obviously, the two men in white apparel were the man’s guardian angels who had been with him throughout his Christian journey. Their assignment/ministry with him can never come to an end until his arrival in glory. The same rule applies to every Christian.

However, beyond whatever is the lesson you have gained from this true account so far, the Lord certainly has some more. Dearly beloved, are you aware that there are Christians who are not taking advantage of heaven’s resources? Their reasons are sadly so wide-ranging. They stem from lack of knowledge to indolence, from fear to spiritual nonchalance, the weight of the guilt of sin which makes them feel unworthy before God, etc.

Permit me to strongly point out this fact that the spiritual weapons available to a Christian are numerous and so potent that any Christian not engaging them is not only short-changing himself/herself, but equally, such Christian is making God a liar or worse still making God resemble the powerless god of the philistines (see 1 Sam.5:2-7). Spiritual weapons such as prophecy, confessing the word of God, applying the blood of Jesus, speaking in tongues over situations, use of angels (the focus of this article), shield of faith, etc, are but a few among myriads.

More concerning is the fact that the children of the dark kingdom put their own version of these spiritual weapons to effective use. You say, ‘what does the Pastor mean by this? Whilst the Christian fails to send his guardian angels on errand or steer them up in readiness for battle, the cohort of darkness are busy engaging demons and evil spirits to perpetrate all forms of evil .

They engage them to steal people’s virtues through dreams. The glory of many are caged and destinies are consequently retarded. Happy courtships are suddenly destroyed by demonic media and arrows are fired to stop already guaranteed breakthroughs. Accidents are caused by occultic men through the invocation of spiritual and demonic forces and powers. Near-success syndrome are routine through the activities of wicked forces and evil spiritual invocations.

Are you in any doubts? Are you aware that demon, unclean spirits and fallen angels exist? Are you aware that these evil personalities are responsible for sexual experiences in people’s dreams? Are you aware also that evil men by means of astral powers seek and obtain the assistance of evil forces in order to have sexual intercourse with female persons in the dreams, especially such female persons who have turned down their advances in real life? Are you aware that you can ask your ministering spirit otherwise called guardian angel to stand at the gate of your life and repel every oncoming danger?

O dear Christian, hear what the Lord said and is yet saying again. In Hebrews 1:14, the Scripture says: ‘are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation’? Are you genuinely a heir of salvation? If your answer is in the affirmative, then this benefit of the better covenant of Jesus Christ our Lord is for you.

By the grace of God, I have had and continues to have by His great mercy, numerous experiences with angels including one-on-one encounters. In 2011, whilst in dire need of 700 Pounds, I prayed in faith asking my guardian angels to go and meet my needs in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Shortly afterwards, the result was more than expected. I have shared this testimony with a number of people. Sometime in July 2016, my spiritual daughter in London took this testimony on board. She prayed asking the Lord ‘if indeed Pastor Mike’s testimony is true, then let my guardian angel get my financial problem regarding my travel to Nigeria solved between 1 and 2 PM today’. To her utter-amazement, at about 1:30 of the same day, that problem became a history. Your personal testimony will be the next in the name of the Lord Jesus, Amen.

Dearly beloved, 2016 is far and fast spent out already. But do you know that this month can yet be the beginning of months for you? Year 2016 is not far and faster than your ministering spirits. You can ask them to pursue and recover all blessings lost or not yet gained.

I plead with you by the mercies of God, believe this message: angels talk to men. Angels run errands for men. Angels fight battles for men. Angels are still in the business of connecting men with their life-partners. You can ask your angel to get that employment letter/appointment for you. Are you going to send your angel to go and convince everyone in that meeting-room where your blessing/promotion/contract is being decided? Read all the Scriptures in this edition of the magazine: The Message Now, and do not doubt otherwise God becomes a liar as to His promise on angelic assistance.

Be informed again dearly beloved, that angels do run errands for the children of God. Angels do have conversation with men. Dear Christian, biblical experiences of oldtimes are still the same. Oftentimes, we don’t enjoy what they of oldtimes enjoyed because we are too far from God in faith and in spirit.

Beware: you must pray always in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ only not in the name of any angel. If you are willing and believing; then it is time to pray. Please pray now.

What evil is left in the hands and hearts of men that the love of money is yet to help them commit?

The Maker of heaven and earth is perfect in knowledge in all things. Sometimes, in His perfect knowledge, He makes all the children born into a family star-children alike. Other times, He makes out only one star-child out of the family for the purpose of that star-child rising up tomorrow to lift up the others. Very sad oftentimes is however the case when such a star-child is a companion of truants, one with a penchant for helping others excluding his sibblings or when he is a companion of destiny-wasters all in the name of money and fame.

Such was the case with a star-child whom God mightily raised up out of dungeon and dust in North-Central Nigeria. He rose to prominence and stardom in his political career but then forgot God who was the secret behind his success. Having proved to be a reliable star-child, he financed his younger sister’s education until she became an accountant. Dearly beloved, stop and pray now (say), Father, my blood shall not become the catalyst for another’s elevation. Every power and person enriching himself with my glory and star crash and rise no more in the name of Jesus. My tomorrow shall not be sacrificed on the altar of the wicked. In the name of Jesus, the stranger or the wicked shall not inherit my portion from God.

This star-child forgot that it is the greatest error to partner with the devil. For one, if the devil gives man a cap; be rest assured that in return, he will require that man’s head from him. In 1999, when the wind of democracy began to blow across the national equator of Nigeria, as God had destined, he was selected to be the governor of one of the North-Central states of Nigeria. Rather than seek the Lord for success in the election, he consulted the devil. Of course, the devil gave him his own demand too.

Consumed by the unpardonable predilection for money and the unquenchable lust for fame, he did not refuse the devil’s demand. The cult he joined demanded for the blood of anyone whom he loved the most. That evil demand fell right on his younger sister whom he trained to become an accountant. Thus her blood became his satanic stepping-stone to becoming the Governor for eight years. Hmmm! Another evil propelled by the love of money. Perhaps you are of the opinion that that’s so gruesome of such a brother! Before you and I begin to judge him for his wickedness, can we too bring ourselves before the search light of the Almighty? Are you an eater of tithes and offerings? Do you envy, berate or even feel inferior to others because they appear richer than you? Then the love of money resident in you is greater than the fear of God dwelling on the inside of you.

It further means that you are in the same category with that murderer of his own sister (See James.2:10). Whether you claim to be different or not from that murderer, one infallible truth is obvious and certain. Your general attitude and/or your spontaneous reaction towards things concerning money tells God and man who you truly are.

Speaking more explicitly about our attitude towards money; I dare ask, are you a good manager of your money? I congratulate you. But can you please take a moment to check up that good management through the lens of the Spirit? Because, whilst you think you are a good manager of your money, it may just be that you are a good miser. Unfortunately, the flipside of your miserliness is that you are perfectly in-love with money. Watch it dearly beloved.

As to our reaction towards money: whether explicitly or implicitly,consider your seen and unseen responses to money-related matters.

Do you lose your innate joy simply because there is no money in your pocket even when you don’t need it? When a large amount of money is being counted in the bank or elsewhere in your presence; what runs through your mind at such sight? Are you a pastor or desiring to be one because of your interest in building a financial empire for yourself? What are your wishes concerning money?

Do you feel insecure and even lose your inner peace for want of money? Mr pastor, all you know is to receive from your church/ministry members, nothing ever descends from you to them. Pastor! Have you forgotten so soon the lesson from Melchizedek (priest of the Most High) in Genesis chapter 14? Abraham brought a tenth of all that God gave him as a result of the victory he got in the battle. The priest of the Most High, Melchizedek himself gave Abraham bread and wine.

All the edifices (including tangible and intangible properties) of your ministry/church are all in your name, Pastor. None is in the name of the ministry or church. And none can challenge you because you are answerable to God alone. That same God is asking me to let you know that He will visit you soon. Why are you interested in giving that rich brother a positive answer dear spinster?

Dear Mr husband, do you love your money more than your wife? Is the worth of your wife quantifiable in parri passu with money? If your wife, dear husband, is lesser than even your mother in your life, then you are not qualified to be a husband; you are but a mother’s boy.

Hello, sister wife, has your husband now become a talk-punching-bag because of money? So long as he has always been a good man to you; the tide of God’s favourable change will soon turn in his direction. And what then would be your song? A song of praise to him again? Sister!

Watch and deal with that love of money. Dearly beloved,understand the harshness of the message coming to you today. The reasons are not far fetched. The issue of holiness and heaven follows after a strict and unwavering standard. Unfortunately, except a man opens up himself to serious spiritual check, the love of money is so subtle that discerning it sometimes is too deeply problematic. In sum, to everyone, the Lord is sending out an invitation today for a quick spiritual examination and possible spiritual surgery if any. The matter of the love of money is so serious that if we have fallen short in any way, if we have to declare days of fasting just to get back on track with God and out of mammons way, then let’s do it dearly beloved.

I give us today by the help of the Most High four antidotes to curtailing the love of money.

(1) Pursue money only because it is needed for anything of genuine purpose(s).

(2) Pursue money because you genuinely hate poverty. I plead with all by the mercies of God; please hate poverty with your whole soul. It can take your salvation. The Bible is not foolish when it says ‘money is a defence’, and ‘money answereth all things’. The Lord died partly for the purpose of replacing our poverty with His riches (see 2 Corinthians.8:9). So, pray hard to the ever good Lord to be financially buoyant. Albeit, pray it with a pure heart filled with good intentions.

(3) Pursue money because of the interests of God and godliness, love of others believers or unbelievers (see Galatians 6:9-10). (4) Let your pursuit be guided always by conscience and the Spirit’s conviction or confirmation.

I prophesy to all, none of us will miss heaven, our earthly and our eternal rewards because of the love of money. My dear brother, my dear sister, that problem that wants you to condescend to sin of any kind due to little or no access to funds shall soon die. I see rain falling heavily in front of me. Dearly beloved, great rain of God’s unstoppable blessings shall fall upon you and your family. I cut off lack from every life and family reading this magazine. Hold firm to the garments of Christ. The splendor and treasures of the gentiles shall soon be brought to you by effortless ease. Stay blessed.

I detach my life from every entanglement or enslavery to money.

O God my father, remove from me every aorta of love of money.

The dazzling mysteries of God and His outworkings will never cease to astound man even after the end of time.

In the early springs of April 2007, in the Granite City of Aberdeen, United Kingdom, overwhelmed by thoughts of shattered hope and dark despondency, I committed my life to gruesome suicide. How so foolish I was! Attempting to reason out the mysteries of the limitless God by a limited human brain is a most foolish attempt at comprehending the Most High. To start with, is suicide the answer to the challenging questions posed by life’s battering arm? By killing myself, was God going to change from whom He is?

Beloved, where every effort of man has failed, and everything around you and from the nearest horizon are clearly voicing in unison the expression: ‘it is all over’, then remember these four statements.

The first of this statement is that at every point when the strength of man says ‘it is over’, then the strength of God has just begun.

The second statement is somewhat connected with the first. God is always one step ahead of man. So when man has reached his limit, God is a step beyond man’s limit. Alas! What a mysterious great God.

Third,never embrace self-pity; it is always self-destructive.Fourth, never be bitter about your problems. Receive all problems that come your way with a heart saying: ‘God what shall I do?’

Perhaps you are wondering why does God wait till the last minute before steering up His strength in our defence or assistance? I asked the same question on that faithful Wednesday the 4th of April 2007. Months before this time, countless effort to secure assistance to finance and complete my Ph.D in law in the University of Aberdeen had hit the rocks. Several and different days of tireless fasting, praying, vigils and shedding tears secretly and publicly had become timeless routine. Yet, my constant knock on heaven’s door seemed to produce no result.

So, standing at the edge of the very busy express way called St.Macher Drive, I made up my mind to jump into the fast-moving busy traffic. But for God, I would have become yesterday’s tale. Beloved, when you think you are at your wits’ end, then stop and remember that your future is still unfolding. In today’s opening scripture, Doctor Luke (the author of the book of Acts) demonstrated to us the iconic faith of a man who had his focus not on the darker side of life but on the brighter.

Paul the Apostle: cruelly battered by the Jews in Jerusalem, violently gagged in chains by Claudius Lysias afterwards, kept in prison for two years by Felix the Governor, approached with the offer of bribe to sin against God by the same Felix, further detained and condemned by Porcius Festus, he was eventually released only to face the unceasing wroth of the sea en route his trial in Rome.

Overwhelmed by danger from Cnidus and Euroclydon, confronted by clear and unarguable state of hopelessness, loss of property amidst 14-15 days of starvation, enslaved by bitter winter and rain, Paul and his companions finally arrived in the island of Melita (present day nation of Malta).

In spite of all these trials and afflictions, when it seemed there was now some respite, a viper attacked him. Even with this attack, the viperous attack was seconded by the painful accusation of the Barbarous people. Yet, none of these things moved Paul. I ask why? Paul envisioned that more territories needed to be conquered for the Lord.

I therefore conclude dear reader of today’s magazine that there is something the Lord wants to bring out of your current challenge.

Yes He wants to manifest His glory in your life. Yes He wants to make you stronger and better.Much more, dearly beloved, the Lord allowing you to go through this challenge or even leaving you there for a longer period than you desire is because you are the celebrity cake being prepared by Him for tomorrow’s celebration. Do not spill out of His divine oven. It is hot and pleasurable in that dark and lonely waiting-room.

Rather ask for his mercy. You will become the toast, taste and delight of many. Had not God miraculously delivered me from suicide that day in April, the scholarship money which began to trickle-in by the following month would have been given to another. Would you allow another take your place of greatness and glory? I hear you say NO!

(Say), every power of weariness, suicide and depression in and around me die now in Jesus name. Every power that drains your strength and mine at the edge of breakthroughs I command them to die right now in Jesus name. Every viper positioned around you and me to pick vital information and to strike us at unguarded hour, I command them to die in Jesus name.

At the end of all those trials faced by Paul, the Scripture informed us later how much honour and necessary benefits were laden on Paul and his companions. Beloved, great honour is awaiting you after that trial. Your waiting period will soon be over, and unending blessings shall suddenly follow.

Jephthah in the second Scripture was equally not left out of life’s trials. In the end, Jephthah, in spite of the shameful eviction from his father’s house emerged victorious and indeed became the head over all his detractors. You shall become the head in Jesus name, Amen.

Those laughing you to scorn secretly and publicly shall bow to you and come to seek your help, in Jesus name, Amen. My sister, you think you have been abandoned in the waiting-room of barenness.

First, in the name of Jesus, you are not baren and your delay is over today.

Second, your delay is because a special star-child for an unknown generation is coming through your loins. Don’t give up. Keep up the faith and never yield. Beloved, join me in praying for someone called Bose that anger will not harvest the divine assistance forwarded by God to her.

O God let your good promises in Zechariah 8:12 and Exodus1:7 become real in my life this month, in the name of Jesus.

Voices from evil altars and foundations dictating my pace, be silenced forever by the fire of the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus.

Precious things brought forth by the sun, glorious things put forth by the moon, locate me now, in the name of Jesus.

Father, Let my testimonies appear by your mercy in the name of Jesus.

Transiting from penury to immeasurable wealth

Wealth and wealth creation is a conscious and intellectual architecture by the mind of man foremostly for the man and others (and indeed), for the nation and for the global world depending on the scale of the conceived or the architectured idea and the latitude of the conceiver’s vision.

If anyone reading this article had it all rosy and smooth en route obtaining his/her school/apprenticeship certificate, then such an individual cannot appreciate the worth of such certificate. What does this mean?

The answer requires no torturous research. It is simply NO!!! Who then failed? Everyone except God. What then is the way out? Eight recipes. Dearly beloved, the recipes below must be strictly ahered to if we don’t want the new (incoming year) to be a replica of the old (and outgoing year).

Recipe 1:shun this satanic dependency-attitude of living from pay cheque to pay cheque. This is especially common with us salary earners.

Recipe 2: shun the ungodly attitude of too much sleep. Every time lost cannot be regained. And if regained in some way, it is not without negative effects on other pursuits of life.

Recipe 4: sit down and think. Must life continue in the same pattern?

Recipe 7: never doubt yourself. You are your greatest enemy when you doubt your abilities. Even if you don’t have a required ability, never believe in non-achievement in your heart nor confess it with your mouth.

Recipe 8: love the Lord and obey Him. Live pure and live clean. Stop short-changing yourself by eating up your seed.

Psalm 112:1-3 says: ‘…….. blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in His commandment. His seed shall be mighty upon earth; the generation of the upright shall be blessed. Wealth and riches shall be in his house; and his righteousness endureth forever’.

Eating your seed means living in vacuum, in the no fear of God and in no readiness for the planting season. The end-result will not be wealth or created wealth. It will be penury, famine, complaining, robbery against God and financial death.

In sum therefore dearly beloved, to do wrong or to do the most needful is a choice.

1. Repent from every known and unknown sin that has led to financial struggle or misfortune of any kind.

2. The Lord showed me a cheque belonging to somebody, and I decree that this cheque will not hang nor be held up in satanic traffic any more, in Jesus name, Amen.

3. O God, by the strength of your right hand, recover for me every blessing lost through sleep or through dreams.

4. Evil hands snatching my breakthroughs wither now in the name of Jesus.

5. I will not carry-over any evil, misfortune or failures of this year into the new year in Jesus name.

6. You serpent lying on the eve of December 2016, be smitten by God’s sword of fire.
