Monthly (June) Scripture: Revelation 12:13-16, Isaiah 40:28-31

1. FAITH DECLARATION: Declare the words of the Psalmist in Psalms 26 and 139 aloud in personal self examination and repent of every stumbling-block.
2. CONFESSION: Read aloud Gen.6:8, 8:1, 30:22 and 1 Sam.1:19 (and say):

I open my mouth in humility and in full exercise of faith, and I prophesy before God awesome things that shall happen to me this month and for the rest of this year: that I am no longer hidden in obscurity by the enemy.

My moment of announcement has finally come. It is the delight of Jehovah that my celebration hour and announcement be pronounced in heaven, declared and enjoyed here on earth and remain so in perpetuity.

Therefore, I prophesy my limelight moments. My star is for shining and I am now remembered by the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel. As the covenant between night and day cannot be broken: as the Scriptures cannot for any moment be broken, so it is that I can no longer be forgotten by those appointed to help me and bless me.

The Lord has just shown to my pastor a door flung open in heaven and even folded together so that they cannot be shut again. Therefore, that travel meant for my progress will now happen with effortless ease. The hands that confined me to a single spot are withered and shall exist no further. I am remembered; never to be forgotten. I am remembered; never to be forgotten by favour, mercy and grace. I am remembered and my joy and celebration shall now begin to flow and be loud, Amen.

HOUR OF HEAVENLY SHOWER: pick up the following Scriptures and speak gladdening words to Jehovah: Psalms 99, 111, 113, 114, 1 Sam.2 and Isaiah 25.

PRAY NOW:
1. O hand of Jehovah, collide against every evil force, power, personality and spirit renewing delay, badluck, stagnation and all forms of evil in my life on the first day and first night of every new month.
2. Forces contesting my prayers, mouths and voices saying, “back to sender”’ against my prayers and utterances, Thou Power of God, collide against them and crush them.
3. O angels of the Most High assigned to Express Image Glory Ministries, bear my requests tonight on divine eagle’s wings.
4. I record failure, wastage, delay, stagnation, evil yokes, curses and evil covenants no more from tonight.
5. O Voice of Jehovah, unite with my voice tonight and cause my change to speedily appear.
6. O my garment of glory carried away by unseen evil wind, return by fire.
7. To whom, to what and when is my husband hidden from me to marry or reach his goals of destiny, come out of dark prison, be free and locate me and your glory, destiny and star.
8. That office elected by destiny for me, I am occupying it by the strength of God.
9. O God that answered by fire on Mount Carmel, answer my captors according to their wickedness and let them die like the prophets of Baal.
10. There is a place appointed onto me in destiny and in greatness, strength of the Almighty, fly me there on great Holy Ghost eagle wings.
11. The glory which my father could not enjoy, I put it on and I shall enjoy it.
12. Altars of wickedness speaking opposition and retrogression against me, be rend in twain after the order of 2 Samuel 13.
13. Powers of evil altars working against me, collide against God.
14. (Num.31:8): Forces wearing my wedding dress (delaying or affecting my marriage negatively) die after the order of Balaam’s death.
15. O God, give me a special consolation this month for all my losses, pain, delay, sufferings, struggles and emotional torture.
16. O God, give me a special consolation this month for the sake of the good services you have helped me to render onto you and your work.
17. O God, fulfill my good dreams this month.
18. I declare in the name of God the Father, God the Son and in the name of God the Holy Ghost that this new month of June shall not be like other months of no impact in my life.
19. Padlocks and chains opposed to my progress, I break you off and forbid your resurrection.
20. I take back my money, my virtues and my honour.

WHAT IS YOUR OWN ‘JOSEPH’S BONES’

In every journey of life with God, there are always landmarks, reference points or instances to hold on to. God puts those landmarks in place for the purpose of conviction and to sustain one through the period of waiting.

For the children of Israel, it was Joseph’s bones. That those bones accompanied them right from the start of their journey and knowing that those bones must be buried in the land of Canaan-promised land was an assurance that irrespective of the obstacles they will face, they would arrive in the land of promise.

Remember also that when Joseph died in the Land of Egypt, his body—bones was not buried but was embalmed (Gen.50:26). It means then that in order to carry his bones along their journey to Canaan, his bones needed to be exumed—which was exactly what the Children of Israel did.

So then, having exumed his bones, God’s intention became obvious. God intended their journey to be shorter knowing that should their exceed certain period of time those bones would begin to produce unpleasant odour, most uncomfortable for the congregation of the children of Israel.

LITTLE THINGS THAT COUNT (Part 5)

Welcome again to this edition of The Message Now. I pray that God who has graciously given us this magazine and continues to sustain by and through His word in this magazine shall continue to bless us and never leave us. May the Spirit of the Lord bless you again very richly this week.

All of our Scriptures in today’s edition tell us about two things: (1) an inventory of achievements by the characters directly or indirectly addressed, and (2) the constancy of that natural phenomenon called death. These two information are the focus of today’s edition.

I argue that two major questions cross the minds of intelligent—deep—thinkers at the announcement of the death of people especially near—persons. One question is: where has this fellow gone to? The other is: what does the record of his/her lifetime show?

To die empty is a great gain understood and enjoyed by the wise only. But it is the hobby of fools to die full of God-given ideas and talents still well-stock up in them. I argue that if any one at the peak of high school (secondary school) had not at least an idea or vision to pursue in life, that person’s failure didn’t start today.

The clear writing of that person’s failure had been written in letters of iron long before yesterday. The fact remains that every future is built from the fusion of several ideas of yesterday acted upon today, yielding fruits of today’s action by the dawn of tomorrow. Is your life driven by purpose, planning and consequent action?

Take a pause and ask yourself the question: where will I be in the next five years and the years following? An answer can be that: you would get married, get another degree, raise children, make money, grow old, and of course, die at old age. If that sequence of answers is your answer, then your life has no record of greatness. You are merely a stream which flows through and past the surface of the earth.

The sun would rise some day and the surface impact you left behind will evaporate so soon. It means you died full of ideas and talents. It further means that you died as ordinary as the dog and cats do die. Hear the words of Ralph Woldo Emerson: ‘the regrets of our old age are the mistakes we made in our youth’.

Living life as you have lived it so far uneventfully is a mistake. It can be corrected today if you decide to. If not, God and humanity will never miss you after you are gone. Your history page too would be left empty.

To avoid this: (1) get away from the noise and busy life. (2) Dialogue with yourself. (3) Ask yourself very serious questions. (4) Provide genuine answers to your serious questions. (5) Admit failures and shortcomings. (6) reconsider your ways, develop new ideas and proffer ways to accomplish them. (7) Remember your errors of the past like misuse of time and in your meditation, forgive yourself and others for the waste, and (8) pray to God right there in your meditation and promise Him to be focused, be more quiet and meditative and keep the outcome of your meditation between you and God alone.

IN THE END, ASK YOURSELF AND HONESTLY ANSWER THE QUESTION HOW YOU WOULD LIKE TO DIE AND WITH WHAT LEGACY BEHIND. THE UNDERSTANDING FROM THAT QUESTION AND CONSEQUENT ANSWER WILL SHAPE YOUR FOCUS AND PRIORITIES LONG BEFORE THAT MOMENT OF DEATH COMES.

THERE IS A BIG FUTURE IN THAT SMALL TODAY

The negative complexions of today are only a reflection of tomorrow if you permit it. Remember the 36th edition of the second volume of this magazine which came up on 4th September last year.
In that edition, the Lord led us into the story of the then Arsenal FC player (now playing for Liverpool FC) by name: Alex Oxley Chamberlain. Recall that Alex Oxley Chamberlain was the player who forsook 180,000 Pounds weekly pay for a lower pay of 120,000 Pounds.
His argument then was that he preferred happiness to prosperity. Understand also that his decision could have had further negative implications because Liverpool FC was not regular in European championship.
But season-in-and-season-out, Arsenal FC whom he forsook was always there. In choosing to play for Liverpool FC (which had lower chances in the Premiership and in Europe at large), unknown to many Chamberlain was seeing the big future in the small Liverpool FC of the day.
Today (which is the future of last year) the story has now changed. Chamberlain is the one now laughing out so loud. For one, his club Liverpool FC is now the fourth in the Premiership. On the other hand, Arsenal FC whom he forsook is now struggling to occupy either the sixth or the seventh position in the Premiership.
Besides, Liverpool FC is now in the finals of the European Cup which could earn the club millions of Euros far beyond 90 million pounds. Amazing! Isn’t it? Attitude and self-belief matters in every pursuit of life.

‘TELL THEM THAT I LOVE THEM’

‘TELL THEM THAT I LOVE THEM’

How so beautiful and radiant are the dimples and indeed the entire face of a new mother at the sight of her newly-born baby. As it is to the new mother, so it is to the new father. It was at about the years between 2010-2013 when BBC (Fivelive) carried this piece.
What was contained in the piece was how a woman was delivered of her child by her husband who was never a delivery expert. That faithful morning, the woman in question was already in labour. The husband attempted to carry his beloved wife to the car downstairs.
At about the start of the stairs or midway, the woman dilated and the baby began to emerge. The helpless husband was forced to put a call through to their Royal Infirmery. It was too late to forward any ambulance: so instant lectures on how to deliver the baby and save the lives of both was the next and only option.
Consider the agonizing moment undergone by that husband. As the telephone conversation went on, the man—husband pulled the baby as gently as he could. With shivers in his voice on telephone, he followed the instructions carefully.
At last, the baby was born. With unusual ecstasy, he pleasurably carried his baby not minding the mess of the fresh blood. On conversing with BBC, you could yet hear how electrified he was with joy.
I decree in the name of the Lord that your destiny man-child shall be born this year. Stoppers of your destiny’s manifestation shall be abruptly stopped. In the name of the Lord Jesus, I break the yoke of non achievement from your life. By the strength of Him who sent, I prophesy: men shall celebrate you.
