DIVINELY-GUIDED INSTRUCTIONS FOR ENJOYING THE UNCEASING BLISSFULNESS OF JEHOVAH IN 2019

Common sense unarguably accepts that commonly-agreed understanding will produce common position and common stance. In effect and in essence, the consequence of such commonality is common results commonly embraced by all the parties in the commonly understood transaction.

For the sake of reiteration, permit me to reemphasise the strong view once again that in order to achieve common results commonly enjoyed, there must be no variance in understanding. The absence of variance in understanding will effect common agreement. Common agreement subsumed with common intentions will lead one easily to one’s desired haven with the least stress. What you have read so far should not sound like an abstract to your intelligent minds.

The point is simply better and less abstractly told by the prophet Amos. Amos chapter 3:3 states that (paraphrased): without man’s alliance with God in Godlike attributes free from sin, partnership between God and man will head in only one direction: it is the sole direction of the rocks for a massive accident. Why? Because God struggles so much when He is in the company of a sinner. There has never been a year like the year 2019. It is a year in which God has gone ahead without man’s invitation to settle all problems of man ahead of man’s entry into it. What an awesome kindness from Jehovah!

So, it means then that man is left with an open cheque for 2019 with the bank to which the cheque is attached fully loaded with money and all the resources man will ever need. However, get this clear. The likelihood of a hurdle at the cashier’s desk is often not surprising for many people. In other words, there is a condition attached to cashing the freely-given cheque. It is the condition of righteous living. The Lord is lamenting very seriously that the spiritual clouds over man are heavily laden with great rain of blessings (Eccl.11:3). But when will man desist from sin such as petty and serious lies, lusts, pride, anger and many more? The problem now is not how to cross the Jordan or how to break down the terrible walls of Jericho.

For God has already done all these as far as 2019 is concerned. But shall man possess his possessions after entry? (Obadiah 1:17). This is a question for man alone to answer. One thing is sure: all men will have themselves to blame and not the next man or the satan who motivated them to sin in 2019 should they fail to keep away from sin.

The year 2019 is a year of solution says the Lord God of heaven and earth. The question is: will you miss out from the divine solution provision of 2019? Understand that there is only one figure missing between 19 and 20. It is the figure: 1. It means that without 1, 19 will never become that glorious 20 which 19 seeks. That missing figure 1 is righteous living.

2019! 2019 is a composition of four digits: 2, 0, 1 and 9. When combined in terms of a year nomenclature, there are two combined meaningful digits of 20 and 19. If God who has gone ahead into 2019 is the first two digits of the year 2019 being 20, then man is the remaining two digits being 19.

It means then that should man ever desire to have a common position and common stance with God which will ultimately produce common glorious results for man’s testimony and joy and praise to God, then man need the figure 1 being righteous living in order to be at a common agreement with God. Of course, it tells us that although it is the year 2019, yet man can be in 2020 common understanding with His Maker. 2020 means perfect partnership with no difference in complexion, attitude or spiritual numeracy though in the year 2019.

IN THE END, THERE IS A LAW OF CAUSE AND EFFECT. PUT SIMPLY, ACTIONS OR INACTIONS BEGET CONSEQUENCES ON BOTH SIDES: POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE. TO EMBRACE THE POSITIVE IS TO CHOOSE GOD’S OWN WAY OF DOING THINGS THE RIGHT WAY. THAT SHOULD BE THE COMMON UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN GOD AND MAN WHICH WILL PRODUCE THE COMMON RESULTS EXPECTED BY GOD AND MAN.

HIS FATHER’S SPECIAL GIFT AND THE MEANING OF CHRISTMAS

Stories like history can be sometimes dead or lost out of thought. But the good thing is that by means of recollection, revisit to archives or recourse to living memory of the aged, they can be revived and retold.

You probably have heard the story below but forgotten it over time. This reproduction then is a recall to mind the story about that father and his son. The story has it that a wealthy father had a number of children. Before his death, he distributed his known wealth to all his children. However, something strange happened. His best child was bewildered in uncommon disappointment because his loving father gave him nothing other than a Bible.

In rage, he threw the Bible somewhere and forgot about it. Months and years rolled on but his attention was never drawn to that Bible. But as events always have it, a turn of attitude took over the atmosphere around him one faithful day.

Suddenly, he decided to pick up the Bible—gift given to him by his father. As he picked it up, a key dropped from within the Bible. It was the key for the car he had requested for whilst his father was yet alive. Amazed and affectioned, he could not but appreciate his father the more for his care, thoughtfulness and unusual love. But the car was now out of fashion, outdated and probably badly-conditioned.

THE SPIRIT OF PHARAOH THAT JOURNEYED WITH ME IN 2018 MUST BE LEFT BEHIND

Someone has rightly argued that ‘an enemy you don’t deal with on time will deal with you with time’. Oftentimes, in the journey of the modern Christian, spiritual strength and focus is directed at the physical enemy; the witch, the human oppressor and the likes.

Whilst there is no doubt in the sound spiritual fact that these physical enemies do exist, the further truth is that all these physical enemies are merely enemies without. The greater truth is that the enemy without succeeds only on the strength and success of the enemy within.

Understand dearly beloved that the children of Israel left the land of Egypt with the memory of their physical enemy, Pharaoh the king of Egypt being dead. To them, the death of Pharaoh marked the end of all problems.

But they failed to realise that although the physical pharaoh was dead, his representatives being the mixed multitude was nevertheless present within them. Indeed and in fact, the harm effected by the representative enemies within them in the course of their journey was by far more tumultuous and disastrous than what the physical Pharaoh: the enemy evidently seen caused to them. Isn’t it so? Remember dearly beloved that the journey of forty days became the journey of forty years as a result of the enemy within such as the rebellion, the murmurings, the ingratitude, the complaining, the idolatry and the sexual sins.

If anyone ever thinks that God is an illusion, such a-one suffers from chronic paranoia mingled with schizophrenia of an uncommon kind. The truth is this: God is real and the Blessed Lord Jesus Christ is His only begotten Son. The truth is this: whosoever does not believe in the Blessed Lord Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God cannot and will not enter the kingdom of God after his/her departure from this present world (John 3:36). The truth is this: for anyone who claims to be a Christian but forms a destiny alliance with anyone outside the Christian faith, such a-one is an enemy of God (James 4:4). Therefore, Dear Christian sister, to marry a person from a different faith is to have satan as your father-in-law. Dear brother, you are a pillar in the kingdom of darkness when you do the same (2 Cor.6:14). In an age where our nation and indeed the world is experiencing the highest scale of international hypocrisy and the continuing false propaganda that Christianity and other religions especially islam are the same, it is high time we educated ourselves on the differences between especially these two religions. Understand dear Christian, the God of the Christian is in every respect completely and perfectly different from the God of islam. THE EXEGESIS OF PSALM 65:11

Two theological schools of thought express variant opinions about the thematic message of Psalm chapter 65 verse 11. Whilst the one concludes that the verse under reference is of seasonal application, the other pulls in the polar direction.

This other polar direction rather contends that verse 11 of Psalm chapter 65 is dimentionally applicable to all times and to all situations. In order to proffer a balanced analysis of any verse of Scripture, it is always necessary to read and interpret in context the preceding verse or the immediate verses succeeding such verse in context.

So, for a start, a read through and an interpretative application of verse 11 and its succeeding verses is a non-negotiable priority.

These verses therefore read as follows:

’11 Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.
12 They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness and the little hills rejoice on every side.
13 The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing’.

If anything, a careful reading of verse 11 indicates that this verse is both a conclusive, a stand-alone and an omnibus verse. Why? It is the main verse (like the main clause in grammatical syntax) in that it connects the subsequent verses (12 and 13) and relates directly with the two preceding two verses (that is verses 9 and 10).

There arises two questions of how and why in relation to the foregoing conclusion. To accord the how question its rightful answer, the opening clause of verse 11 is worth an attention.

It reads again: ‘thou crownest the year with thy goodness’…. Understand the context of this clause and in particular the interpretative applicational import of the word ‘goodness’ as was used in the verse.

Both the clause and the word ‘goodness’ can suggest no other meaning other than their connection with the rest of the verse and their intended application and relation with and to subsequent verses.
