1 Chronicles 16: 31-34,  2 Samuel 7:12-16, Psalm 136                

One of the core features of God is mercy. The nature of His personality is mercy which extends from His love to humanity as a magnanimous Creator. He is compassionate while dispensing mercy, besides, the infinite forbearance of God moves from one generation to the other without “fisting” even when He has the ultimate power to do so. Invariably, mercy flows from God to man which should in turn be shown from man to man. Mercy means blessing that is an act of divine favour or compassion that endures forever. However, its application is deeper as the one that shows mercy does it at His will.
 
 A vivid grasp of Numbers 14: 18 where Moses pleaded for forgiveness of sins on behalf Israelites clearly informs that God is great in mercy which accommodates; forgiveness and clearing the guilty, besides,in  Matthew 12:7 Jesus said I will have mercy, and not sacrifice ye would not have condemned the guiltless. Despite that the Pharisees accused Christ’s disciples for doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath day by ploughing corn, it’s obvious that mercy seeks solution and not error, it does not condemn but sets free, exonerate, it therefore means that through mercy freedom is inevitable. To the reader of this message, God will show you mercy that will erase errors from your life and set you free in Jesus Name.
 
 Since mercy is infinite and emanates from God, He had in time past said ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; separated from darkness into his marvellous light….1 Peter 2:9, verse 10 says which in time past were not a people but are now the people of God:which had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy. Via mercy you have received the light, you have been transformed and seated with Christ in heavenly places.
 
As long you have been transformed through mercy, I pray you will enjoy mercy forever in Jesus Name. In 1 Chronicles 17:13 God pronounced unending mercy on David through Prophet Nathan. Hear this brethren, mercy is always fresh, as it was with God from the beginning, it neither grow old nor looses it relevancy. You must obtain fresh mercy from Jesus  to remain fresh and relevant before God and the world. I pray that God will announce your glory to the world by His mercy in Jesus Name.
 When man becomes a candidate of mercy, it means that Romans 9:16 “so then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy” is fulfilled in his life. The Almighty God will fulfil this scripture in your life in Jesus Name. 
 
You will continuously be a candidate of mercy in Jesus Name.

The Lunatic received mercy: Matthew 17:14-15  And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying,
Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatic, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.
 
Paul obtained mercy:1 Timothy 1:12-13  And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;
Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.
Elizabeth, Zechariah’s wife wasn’t left out of mercy. Luke 1:58  And her neighbours and her cousins heard how the Lord had shewed great mercy upon her; and they rejoiced with her.
Many more enjoyed mercy and God’s mercy is unlimited to you.
 
God is always interested in the joy of His children, no matter how hard, difficult and perilous the issue, even if you are considered vacuum or dead, I have these eternal words for you, as long as Lazarus the dead received mercy, everything inactive, buried destiny and glory, unannounced and covered manifestation of covenant and promise of God in your life will revive in Jesus Name.
John 11:35 ‘Jesus wept, He had mercy and compassion on His dead friend, recover  all that you have lost in Jesus name, take back everything the enemy has stolen from you through mercy in Jesus name, receive restoration in Jesus Name.
Whoever rides on the horses of mercy will always live a fulfilled life. Always appreciate God for His mercy that endures forever, thanksgiving swifts God into action, praises coupled with request for mercy will always get God’s attention.

WHICH WAY TO GO?

2 Kings 7:3-5,8,9; Psalm 32:8, Psalm 37:23

 
Everyone goes through the issues of life, in birth, aging, health and death.
At a particular time, we come to a stage where we must take decisions that will affect or control the rest of our lives. In taking decisions, we as Christian must know that Christ is the chief compass of our lives. We must never exclude him in our decisions.
 
This reminds us of the episode in first book of Samuel chapter thirty, verse eight; David inquired of the lord what to do when the Amalekites took all the properties, wives and children of Israelites as booties of war. The Lord directed his steps and he recovered all.
Pharaoh decided to pursue the Israelites and he not only perished but all his Six Hundred chosen chariots and the chariots of Egypt all perished (Exo 14:6,7,27,28).
 
Which way to go? In  2 Kings 7, we all know the story of the four lepers who were used of God to fulfil the prophesy of Elisha that within 24 hrs …..’’a measure of five floor would be sold for a shekel and two measures of barley for a shekel’’…
The four lepers discovered  great wealth and realised the peril of not sharing the good news. These lepers were hopeless humanly speaking, they had no future, a terminal illness made them untouchable. They were faced with taking a decision, choosing a way out of 3 deadly ways; if they went into the city they would starve because even healthy people become cannibals in the town due to severe famine so if they went into the town they would die. The second choice was to remain at the gate, since there was no economic activity in the town staying at the gate means starving and eventual death. The third choice was to go into the enemies. They felt it was better to go to the camp of the enemy if they die they die.
This was actually suicidal for they would be termed spies and could be killed so there was no right thing to do as all available choices lead to death. They were compelled to make a choice, they must do something there is a wise saying that a bad decision is better than a non-decision except the non-decision is a deliberate decision. In the case any choice would lead to death so they have to choose the unknown over certain death. This was better than to do nothing and lose their lives by default. They had no idea what God had in store for them. When you get to a cross road, wait to hear from God, our God often spring surprises. His ways are above ours and His action often unpredictable.
 
At this point Psalm 32:8 is a bail out, when you have a “no win” situation like this, we use our best wisdom even our ‘’BOJ’’ (best of judgement) may fail then we have to pray and still do something and trust God to make it right.
Remember the lepers would have starved if they did nothing. There is death in doing nothing. They did something and God prospered it. They discovered unexpected wealth, what a great surprise because the prophet’s words must come to pass.  God commanded the decision of the lepers to lead to great wealth. May your decision of reading this Message Now lead you to ways of prosperity in Jesus Name.
By their decision they had more than enough to eat and drink, they had garments, they had silver and gold. They got a great relief, eventually they realised they have something more precious, a message: this day is a day of good tidings 2 Kings 7:9. The best possible news of the moment. It came in their power to make everyone happy. They became evangelists bringing good news. Listen, there is a lesson for those who push selfish desires ahead of God and His message, we have something better than a gospel of health and wealth. Church life and fellowship are important but winning souls is primary we must share the message.
 
In recent times, it has become our practice to use The Message Now for evangelism. Please, do more of it and be sure a great reward awaits you. There is danger in withholding the message. The lepers said ‘’we do not well’’ and today also we do not well if we do not urgently go out Psalm 37:23. The lord shall order your steps as you step out to evangelise Him today. You shall meet your destiny helper and your benefactor in Jesus name. People were dying and stooping to subhuman behaviour just to stay alive. The lepers said some mischief may occur, the wealth may be taken or they may even be killed by others when the word spreads. They may even have divine punishment. We shall be held accountable for the good news we are keeping to ourselves. We have the gospel; other men do not know it and they prey upon each other in a mad quest for satisfaction they will never achieve. Now is the time tomorrow may be too late, go out, reach out and proclaim the gospel. THIS IS THE WAY TO GO.
 
In the end, it is very sad if we are too busy with groceries and silver and gold and fine garment of this life to devote any time to spreading the good news. The world is in deep need of this message.

THE ULTIMATE PERFECT FOUR AND THEIR UNILATERAL ONE CATALYST

If there is any other pursuit of man other than the pursuit after these four perfect and ultimate combinations being in perfect unison, then such pursuit is either ancillary and subsidiary or outrightly a most useless pursuit.
The foremost problem with ancillariness and subsidiary status of anything is that such a thing or pursuit as it is in this instance is never on the same pedestal with being major. An ancillary or subsidiary vision for example is never the original vision.
Ancillary and/or subsidiary vision or goal, at all times, are substituted visions which do not stand at per with God-given or original vision. They are oftentimes accepted as substitute for nothing else.
Examining deeply the idea behind ancillariness in the light of the four pursuits of perfect and ultimate combinations mentioned above, an intelligent mind makes only one conclusion that ancillary and subsidiary pursuits in parri passu with the four perfect and ultimate combinations is a choice between option and priority.

Every spiritually-discerning and intelligent individual agrees with the fact that priority cannot be contested against. Neither does it permit competition because there is never an existing competition where a priority goal is in the equation. For priority is simply the ultimate. And what else is important when the ultimate is the pursuit?
Man certainly has an end; for none would doubt the reality of death eventually at some point in man’s existence. So, the pursuit of man’s eternal home (that is heaven) is an ultimate pursuit.
Since man’s eternal home is preponderant on the quality of man’s life in the present, therefore, holiness is not an option but a foremost priority in the pursuit of man. Believe me; how can holiness be sustained? How can heaven be gained?

Neither of these two (that is, heaven and holiness) can happen without another major pursuit; it is the pursuit of happiness. Happiness in this context is that which is made possible by the catalyst of the four perfect and ultimate combinations which is also one of the four.
Without a pursuit after this catalyst which is the fourth ultimate of the four perfect and ultimate combinations, none of the other three can be realistic. Man’s pursuit after receiving and knowing the Holy Spirit is non-negotiable. For it is by Him and through Him that all other pursuits are realizable.
Understand the enormity of the indispensable role of the Holy Spirit to man and in man. Every christian from the time of Christ’s departure would have been a perfect orphan were the Holy Spirit not promised and given.
The best preacher in town would have offered his/her greatest spiritual thesis without a single soul being saved except the Holy Spirit were in place and position to breathe on the message preached.

Believe me; money and certain other things guarantee peace and security. But how deep sustaining and sure are such peace and security guaranteed by those other things? Lasting peace and security is one of the fundamental functions of the Holy Spirit. We are quickened by the Holy Spirit.
Happiness is given and sustained by the Holy Spirit even in the midst of the greatest storm. There is no satisfying life of holiness without the Holy Spirit being resident in our live (Rom.8:1, 4-11, 13-17).
Shocking! What a biblical revelation by God that even the Lord Jesus Christ The Most Blessed could not begin His earthly ministry nor perform any miracle until the Holy Spirit came down upon Him (Matt.3:16-17 And Acts.10:38).

Shocking still, Understand the mystery and get the connection between the Holy Spirit and God’s working of miracles. This is in that until the Holy Spirit ‘moved’, God could not utter the word of miracle which commenced the creation of the world. Ah! It was not until the Holy Spirit alighted on the Lord Jesus that God could confirm Him as His only begotten Son (Matt.3:16-17).
Far more shocking still is this next mystery. Do you know that if a man does not have the Holy Spirit such a man is not born-again? (Rom.8:9). Are we aware that the Holy Spirit is the spiritual elevator which will convey those who possess Him to heaven on the day of Rapture? This means that no Holy Spirit in a man and no rapture for that man.
In fact, no man is truly a heaven-bound citizen without the Holy Spirit. Christians are second-class citizens on earth today because of our attitude towards the Holy Spirit. The few outstanding people on earth today waxing strong and doing exploits for God and for humanity are so doing because of their turn of attitude and faith towards and in the Holy Spirit.
You can only go as far as your turn and time to and for the Holy Spirit so permits. The truth is this: the more and more ordinary a Christian becomes the less and less of the Holy Spirit such Christian permits to function in his/her life. No vehicle functions without an engine. There is no daybreak without the dawn and the brightness that accompanies it. No great dream, wonderful thought or word of favour can effectively dawn reality without the signature of the Holy Spirit being first appended to any such. Carefully read the account below.

Two spiritual daughters of Pastor Bangbayan of the Deeper Life Christian Ministry came to him years ago. Their lamentation to him was for him to assist them in fervent prayers because according to them, their flatmate who was of the spirit of witchcraft was oppressing them. Christians! Why are we where we are? Is the spirit we claim to possess truly the Holy Spirit? That is a question deserving personal answers. Good dreams and glorious thoughts are fulfilled by the Holy Spirit with supersonic speed and without an iota of hindrance. Words of prophecy become realistic by dint of right-positioning to the Holy Spirit. Likewise ill-words die as soon as they are uttered by the actions of the Holy Spirit.
Pictures have greater immense effects on the human mind more than words. Being attention-sustaining and highly impressionable on the mind right from the first glance and further stare, the message engraved in pictures can keep focus, direction and target forever or almost.

Indeed, to most people or at least to so many, the underpinning impact and preference for pictures is such that cannot be so easily underscored in mere words and expressions. Dreams, imaginations, thoughts, visions and revelations in general are spiritual dramas presented in pictorial manner.
For instance, revelations reminding us about the second coming of the Lord, rapture, the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, events of the past (for the purpose of warning) events yet to occur, come oftentimes in revelational manner by the activity of the Holy Spirit.
These pictures presented to us by the Holy Spirit have lasting impact on human memory so that the prospects of considering such revelations in the optional sense and not as foremost priorities can be quite remote.

The human mind is a magnet. This is a trait of the human mind well understood by the Holy Spirit. So, when the Holy Spirit operates in frequency of a satellite, signals are easily picked up by the natural magnetic force of the mind. This is also the activity of the Holy Spirit.
Can man understand that the Holy Spirit is a living personality who relates with man in the simplest way man can understand if allowed to freely operate? Can man climb down from his natural high horse and realize that man is merely man and that the Holy Spirit is the true, senior director of any life who will be successful?
Can any board meeting successfully commence or be successfully concluded with binding legal effects without the assent of the Managing director who ordinarily presides over such meeting in the company of the company’s chairman? The answer no doubt is no. So it is impossible to succeed in the journey of life without the Holy Spirit. So it is impossible to be happy, maintain a holy life or ever make it to heaven at last without the Holy Spirit. He is the unilateral catalyst of the entire perfect and ultimate four combinations in unison.

The Holy Spirit is a most unstoppable and the only unhinderable force in the entire universe. His gifts are ever irrevocable and comforting words are the most soothing. The words of the greatest of men do fail. Not that of the Holy Spirit. The only hindrance to the Holy Spirit is that He hates one thing, and that is sin.

IN THE END, TAKE THE HOLY SPIRIT OUT OF ANY LIFE EQUATION OR NEGLECT TO HAVE HIM IN YOUR COMPANY, AND THEN YOU FINALLY FORGET AND FORSAKE ANY SUCCESS AT ALL. KNOWING THIS: IS THE HOLY SPIRIT TO YOU A FOREMOST PRIORITY OR A FORGOTTEN OPTION?

A BIBLICAL MYSTERY: HOW TO KNOW AND EFFECT THE TIME OF DIVINE VISITATION

How so joyful it can be when a Christian journeys through the wilderness of life with the clear knowledge that the Almighty God is in his/her company. Such joy is always the joy of the hope that redemption will turn-up at some point.
It is absolutely a different conundrum when the heaven over an individual is simply like brass. Like brass meaning that everything is bleek and black (that is no communication from the Lord whatsoever). Such is a state of hopelessness. I tell us the truth that if we are in the business of not hearing from God at least by dreams, then this edition of The Message Now is for you. The question is if this is the trend with any Christian then how can that Christian know and effect the moment of divine visitation?

It is no spiritual antimony that in the reciprocal relationship between man and God, man is oftentimes expected to be the seeker after God. For is it not a command in Matthew 7:7 that: ‘ask and ye shall be given. Seek and ye shall find’?
By the content of the same Matthew 6:33 we understand that we are as man expected to ‘seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness’…. Likewise the instructive content of Proverbs 8:17 is to the extent that: ‘I love those who love me, and those that seek me shall find me’.
However, seeking in the reciprocal relationship between man and God turns-on an equation of variant arrangement, effect and positive results when praises is involved in that equation. Why? Praises from man makes God the seeker and not vice-versa.

For the Scripture informs in John 4:23 that: ‘but the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the father in spirit and in truth: for the father seeketh such to worship Him’.
Wow! ‘For the father seeketh such to worship Him’! So God is personally in search of people all because of praises! It therefore means that God constantly visits the home and life of those who praise Him because it is only from such home and life that the Almighty gets His food.
Understand that anyone in the business of dishing out God’s food to Him incurs debt on divinity who is bound to repay. For did not the Scripture state in Romans 13:8 that: ‘owe no man nothing’?

If divinity made the rule of repayment after purchasing or receiving, can divinity ever break its own rule? I hear you say a loud NO. So, the questions are how can one effect the reality of divine visitation? Alternatively, when can the time of divine visitation said to be due?

  • When one realises the fact that the art and act of praising is by far more preferable than the art and act of praying and continuously puts that realisation into practice.
  • When one begins to activate the mystery of holy angels (see Heb.1:14).
  • Giving God the best and the most unusual always attracts the swiftest responses and the most unusual gifts from God. For the sake of God, Paul the Apostle gave up His best that is his legal career and God wrought unusual miracles through him (Acts.19:11-20). It was the act of giving God the money I was saving to purchase something for my fiancée at the time that open the door to being able to obtain certificates in higher studies outside this country.

Observe king Solomon. Was it not the same night he gave God unusual gifts that God visited him and gave uncommon gifts which has not yet been equalled by any man to him? (1 Kings.3:4-13). The deeper and the better the commitment to God the closer God becomes.

I tell us the truth that if events keep happening to us unannounced, no revelation, no dream, then it is an obvious fact of two things: (a) that God has not been visiting us or that we have been deaf to His voice when He visits, and (b) that we have not been close to God as we should be.

Ask yourself how consistent is your personal Bible study? How consistently do you fast genuinely? And of course, ask yourself how consistently do you talk? The ever talking heart and mouth is loaded with crowded issues. Such heart cannot receive God nor hear Him.

I must however raise the inquisition that whether much or little, people still praise God. This being the case, then why then do people still miss that precious moment of His divine visitation? Alternatively, why is it that divine visitation is so difficult for many to activate?
These answers are hidden in spiritual mysteries. Understand that every man has that golden hour when God visits him/her or when God sends angels to pay him/her that needed visit. Such divine hours differ from person to person. The question is have you ever taking out the time to know your own hour of visitation?
Besides, the greatest commander of divine visitation is praises emanating from a righteous heart. Essentially, three parts of our body are involved in the worthy service of praises. These include: the giving hands, the heart and the expressive tongue.

If any of the actions emanating from these three do not meet the threshold standard set by Psalm 24:3-4 and James 3:1-12, then the praises being offered to God by any of these three body parts is wholly worthless. Do not deceive yourself by the slogan: mercy will avail. Holiness is non-negotiable.
Finally, the content of Luke’s gospel chapter 19:44 highlights a disturbing mystery. Christ the Redeemer and the Restorer of hope was in the midst of hopeless people who seriously needed Him. But they did not recognise Him. It was the time of their divine visitation but they did not know. Why?
John chapter 1:10-11 tells us that: ‘He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own and His own received Him not’.

His own could not receive Him because their hearts were not opened despite his ceaseless knocking on the door of their hearts (Rev.3:20). They did not know the time of their divine visitation because the satanic power of the Roman government which governed Israel at the time succeeded in blinding and blocking their spiritual eyes and minds.
Isn’t that possible? Remember that prophet Isaiah could not see the Lord nor receive his divine visitation until the year that king Uzziah died (Is.6:1). Sometimes, the evil strong man of our life must die before breakthrough can ever emerge. This is why I counsel anyone and everyone to pray for the repentance of witches and satanic agents. But if they fail to repent, then they deserve no mercy (Deut.7:2).

IN THE END, GOD SHOWED TO ME A MOMENT OF DANCING. THAT WILL BE YOUR PORTION SOON (PSALM 16:5-6).
