Monthly (December) Scripture: Jer.38:17-19, Eccl.10:10, Lk.21:13-15;

FAITH DECLARATION: re-echo this Scripture in the ears of the Almighty and for preservative wisdom for yourself: Psalm 39 and 1 Samuel 21:10-15.
CONFESSION: Confess the following Scriptures with resounding faith that cannot be resisted nor denied: (Psalms 56, 57 and 64:

“O Strength of Israel that cannot lie, Make this hour the true hour of revelation and prophecy that shall in every wise stand . I have come to know that this new moon, the (aquarius – Capricorn) moon of December is the lone moon of determination of what shall be in the new year. O aquarius – Capricorn, in you is the height of men’s errors, disasters and the preparations of the carryovers—the evil baggage for coming year. But by the wisdom and the power of the Almighty, my new moons of the new year shan’t be determined by you and the wicked spirits that wallow around in you but by Him who is the Possessor of heaven and earth. I hijack my breakthroughs of year 2019 yet to be delivered to me from you by the Strength of Israel that cannot lie. I remove myself from shadow shelter of stagnation, non-achievement, failure and every ill experience of the passing year. Because the Strength of Israel cannot lie, I decree that progress and result-oriented ventures of year 2020 begins from you O aquarius –capricorn moon. O aquarius – Capricorn moon, no tears of sorrow shall drop from my eyes in you. I refuse every evil carryover. I shall not lose any of my blessings to you. Where is the Lord God of Israel who made prophet Moses a god and an authority over Pharaoh? Arise! Cause those dark powers of aquarius – Capricorn moon to release me after such long delay. Spirit of wisdom for direction at every point, take over me! Let the unusual anointing for wisdom; such wisdom that paves the way out of trouble, the way into the city of greatness and testimony, resume immediate activities in my life. That which prayer or fasting, pastor or prophet cannot do for me. Do it for me O spirit of wisdom mingled with mercy. O stumblingblocks and rocks of offenses ever slowing down my swift movement to my Promise Land, O wisdom of God provides a diversion through another course to my destination. It is true that the errors of men can change the direction of God’s move. But they cannot stop God from arriving at His final destination concerning my destiny. Therefore, I prophesy illumination in my way. I decree divine speed to my feet. I dislocate thorns and thistle holding back. I allow the angels of mercy and the accompanying Spirits of wisdom to lead me. No faulter. No fall. No frustration. For Jer.31:16 must now begin to be fulfilled in my life and destiny. I cancel every kind of accident.
Thank you Lord, thank you Lord and thank you Lord.”

3. I wet the moon of January 2020 for my fruitfulness, favour and happiness with the dew of heaven.
4. O right hand of God, recover my biro, my skill and my joy from the evil snatcher and manipulator.
5. I am now ready for marriage. Therefore, O my hidden spouse, be pulled out into limelight by the right hand of God.
6. I am now due for conception, therefore, you my miracle babies that are being transported up and about, let the wind of the Almighty hijack you and force you back to me.
7. I am now ready for the next level of greatness. Therefore, let there be an unusual visitation of God onto me.
8. I send out sack letters to every personality, force, spirit and power on assignment to hurt men in the moon of this aquarius – Capricorn.
9. O violent horned goat, I chop off your evil horns now, in the name of Jesus.
10. I address you O new moon of December, my laughter will never be held back by you or in you.
11. Victory and rejoicing are the clear signs of year 2020, and I and my loved ones shan’t be excepted.
12. O God of Elijah at the bank and brink of the River Jordan and at Carmel, give a token of your wisdom and strength to move forward.

WAKE UP AND CHANGE YOUR LIFE

WAKE UP AND CHANGE YOUR LIFE

The above phrase is both in approach and in understanding a phrase performing dual functions. For one, it addresses two separate individuals. The first individual is the Almighty who functions as the giver of the instruction ‘wake up and change your life’.
The second individual is man himself whose responsibility it is to respond to divine instruction. Isn’t it a wonder that God is inviting man into a task He, God could single-handedly deal with?
Undoubtedly, there must be many divine reasons for this. It is true on the one hand that divinity loves to partner with humanity in the course of accomplishing earthly tasks. Much more however, the Psalmist noted in Psalm 144:1 that ‘blessed be the Lord my strength,which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight’.

So then, any divine call to man in order to accomplish any task is partly for the purpose of training. The training of man is of serious significance. Man exists in a world of countless troubles and there is always the need for man to go from victory to victory. The trajectory from one victory to another level of victory cannot be possible except spiritual developmental skills are constantly obtained from God.

Those spiritual developmental skills come by way of divine instructions to which man owes the duty of prompt response. The first text of this edition of The Message Now is very revealing in this context.
Twice, the Lord through His angel touched and addressed the prophet Elijah who, at the time, was fallen to despondency. There is a mystery lesson to be learnt here. Ordinarily, prophets function on four diverse planes.
First, whosoever has prophetic insight or calling must be able to see through God. Second, a prophet must be able to hear from God. Third, a prophet must be able to feel/sense through divine antenna. A prophet must be able to accurately profer solutions to the sufficient solving of people’s problems.
Being a prophet, Elijah ought to have seen the angel. Certainly not until the angel touched him. Why then couldn’t he, a great fire prophet not see the angel? The great fire prophet was blinded at this time. Not physically blind but spiritually blind.

Note that the great fire prophet was discouraged at this time. What discouragement does to the spiritual eyes is what physical blindness does to the physical eyes. Discouragement blurs spiritual vision and deafens physical ears from seeing and from hearing God.
As discouragement is the sin of the heart where God and His mighty power are belittled, so is the physical sin of devaluing God by demeaning words of mouth, physical actions or such innate thoughts which berate God and diminish His awesome power.
Understand that the phrase ‘wake up’ is the same as the word ‘arise’ which the Lord Jesus commanded to the sick man which had been bed-ridden for 38 years and confined to the Pool of Bethesda (Jn.5:8).

The phrase ‘wake up’ means the same thing as the pronouncement by the angel to prophet Daniel instructing the prophet to ‘be strengthened’ as contained in Daniel chapter 10:19.
Notice from Biblical accounts that the phrase ‘wake up’, ‘awake’, ‘arise’, be strengthened’ is always pronounced by God shortly before a remarkable breakthrough.
In the case of the sick man at Bethesda’s Pool, it was a call by the Lord to rouse him to receive his miracle. For prophet Elijah, it was a clarion call for the continuation of his ministry/destiny on earth and to journey to the great beyond in a most spectacular fashion which would linger eternally on the pages of history and within the annals of divinity.
For prophet Daniel, it signaled a change for an entirely new experience for his life and for humanity in general. Prophet Daniel in his case was being called because of transformation experience.
Ephesians 5:14 notes: ‘wherefore He saith, awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light’.
In this instance, the Spirit of God is calling both to the sinner, the backslider and the lethargic Christian to ‘awake’ from spiritual sleep. Why? Because Christ has arrived even at this instance in order to give His incomparable light (meaning His presence, favour, glory and changed garment) so that the life of the awakener may never be the same again.

The call to ‘awake’, ‘arise’, ‘be strengthened’ ‘wake up’ all point in the direction of an invitation; an invitation to a new dining table with the Lord.
IN THE END, THE PHRASE WAKE UP AND CHANGE YOUR LIFE IS A CALL TO ACTION; IT IS THE ACTION TO RECEIVE THE SPECTACULAR AND THE EXTRAORDINARY. THE PHRASE REPRESENTS A SHIFT OF POSITION FROM STATICITY TO PROGRESSION. IT IS ALWAYS THE CALL INTO A NEW DAWN, A NEW BEGINNING AND AN ENTIRELY NEW EXPERIENCE.

PROPHECY AS A SPIRITUAL AND IRRESISTIBLE WEAPON

I remember most vividly the experience of that great Man of God, Apostle Billy Graham. On the faithful day in question, the Man of God was air-borne en route a journey. At some point during that journey, the pilot announced that the aircraft was heading for a crash. And what do you expect? There was pandemonium everywhere as the aircraft swaggered up and down in its swerve to crash.
The cacophony went on for quite a while. But in the midst of that turmoil, something strange was going on. There was an annoying man who seemed to be bothered by nothing. The annoying man in question simply went on fiddling with his cigarette, cracking jokes and laughing all the way. The man was probably the most annoying man in the universe at that moment.
After perhaps a long period of very frightening ordeal, the pilot made contact once again with the people on board. His announcement this time around was different from any palpitations. The aircraft was now stable and now on a smooth ride, the Pilot announced.
There was great calm and everyone seemed to return to lucidity again. Then a man who sat close to the somewhat annoying fellow bellowed a question to him. Sir, he said. Whilst everyone feared for his life during the turmoil experience, you simply went on fiddling with your cigarette, cracking jokes, laughing and not bothered. May I know the reason for this?
The annoying man simply replied, pointing to Apostle Billy Graham. ‘why should I be bothered? Don’t you see that God’s friend is sitting right over there? I was so confident that God would not allow the aircraft wherein his friend, Billy is seated to crash’.
Wow! An unbeliever and cigarette smoker used the friend of God, Apostle Billy Graham as his spiritual and irresistible weapon. Hmmm! Are you a friend of God. Can you trust God so much that you can take rest even in the midst of the fiercest storm and the most painful delay?
Note that prophecy as a spiritual weapon comes in two forms. The first is the specific form. The second is the general form.
In the case of Apostle Peter (who is the subject of today’s case study), it is specific. The Lord Jesus informed him in clear pictorial manner how he would eventually die. This is why when Herod arrested him, Apostle Peter was so confident that he could take a restful sleep between four quaternions of soldiers.
Why? Because Apostle Peter knew that by revelational knowledge the manner of death that would convey him to glory was already determined by God. Further, Apostle Peter knew that Herod’s own words cannot alter that of the Almighty. For is not the word of God so sure, certain and unchanging.
My boss (during my NYSC) days was born after his mother had been barren for 29 years. Can you beat that? Yet in the end, she became a mother of two boys: a lawyer and a mass communicator (now a politician today). The truth of the matter is this: that which God has spoken concerning you whether specifically through Him, or through yourself or through men of God by prophetic inspiration of the Holy Spirit or that which God has spoken concerning you in the general form through the Holy Bible, will certainly come to pass at the time set by God or at the time prophesied by your own mouth.
There is no greater word of sure authority over a man’s life other than his own words of prophecy over himself, the pronounced word of authority by an anointed Man of God or the word of the God of heaven Himself over that man.
Guess what! Ask yourself the question; how was the entire universe created? Simply by word of prophecy. And God said, let there be light, and there was light. If God Himself engages prophecy as a spiritual weapon knowing that such weapon is irresistible, why not you?
IN THE END, EVERY LIFE AND DESTINY IS MADE OR MARRED BY EITHER SPOKEN WORD OR IMAGINED THOUGHTS. THE CHOICE OF USING WORDS AND THOUGHTS AS POSITIVE SPIRITUAL WEAPONS OF POSITIVE PROPHECY IS A PERSONAL DETERMINATION.
