A NEW LIFE EXPERIENCE IN A NEW YEAR EXPEDITION
(Part 2)
Being ahead of time, in time and on time are at all times the language and nature of any goal-getter. Spiritual exercises such as praying and fasting are fantastic for facilitating miracles into reality. But attitude sustain those miracles.
Attitude, to most Christians is a reference to a life of sin or otherwise. Ah! that is correct. But in this context, much more. A cultural attitude of effective time management is a foremost concern. For instance, the only aptitude for an interview for a new job may simply be time management examination in whatever spectrum the employer chooses to go about it.
You have often heard or read that ‘time is money’. Amidst a number of interpretations, this statement could mean that financial prosperity favours those who values its principle of time maximisation. Right timing to the hour of prayer and to one’s chosen prayer altar is biblical.
Indeed, talking about time and prayer, the Bible refers to the phrase ‘hour of prayer’ on different occasions (see Acts.3 and Acts.10). The singular reason why most people are either behind time or outrightly make nonsense of allotted time is because of their lack of vision or value for what that time is meant for or what that time is to be used for.
Excuses always abound for misuse of time. For instance, the blame game on other people always argues that ’Joy was responsible for Jane’s late arrival’. The truth of the matter is that in most cases, Jane simply chose to be late. For no one can waste your time without your consent.
What this further means is that explicitly or implicitly, Joy consented to Jane’s spurious attitude to the waste of her time. Who then is to blame but Joy who gave her assent to a nonsense attitude. For shouldn’t Joy have realized that time is a most invalued and phenomenal currency that only when it is expended wisely will meaningful results be gained?
Here is the conclusion of the entire details. In an attitude where man is a failure within the realms of humanity, such a man cannot record success in his partnership with divinity. Did I hear you shout how?! It is pure righteous living to wait for God when He says ‘wait’. It is equally a mark of righteousness to make a bullet-start as soon as God says ‘go’.
Our first two texts in this context speak volume especially in the context of instant response timed instruction and faithful patience. Talking about meaningful use of time by dint of faithful patience, our first text in this edition (Ps.110:1-4 reads:
‘1. The Lord said to my Lord, sit at my right hand till I make your enemies your footstool’. [So, O God, if I expend my time sitting patiently for you; you would make my enemies surrender to me isn’t it? What more, Lord?]
2 The Lord shall send the rod of your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of your enemies!
3 Your people shall be willing in the day of your power; in the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning, you have the dew of your youth.
4 The Lord has sworn and will not relent, you are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek’.
Understand dearly beloved that all the blessings that subsequently followed from verses 2-4 are a function of the obedience to time management by reason of stillness (that is patient waiting) at divine instruction. In a sense, one is also saying that an attitude of effective time management equally means being patient, tenaciously persevering for a good course to happen and exercising sustained endurance in the face of violent pressures.
IN THE END, I PROPHESY THAT THREE GREAT THINGS; SUCH THAT HAS NEVER OCCURRED IN YOUR LIFE BEFORE TIME SHALL HAPPEN THIS YEAR. THE STRUGGLES AND SUFFERINGS OF SEVERAL YEARS SHALL YIELD THEIR DESIRED MIRACLES FOR YOU THIS YEAR. AS THE LORD LIVES AND HIS SPIRIT ENDURES, THIS YEAR YOU SHALL KNOW THAT YOU HAVE A LIVING GOD SITTED UP IN HEAVEN.
