CARRY OUT THAT INSTRUCTION EVEN WHEN IT APPEARS THE MOST STUPID THING

It was in the city of Birmingham in the year 2012. I awoke that morning with a migraine-like headache that resisted all effort until the Lord stepped in. Sometime later that same day, at about the evening session of the Christian programme I was attending in Birmingham, having travelled all the way from Aberdeen, something so strange happened.
As I entered the hall of meeting and with the headache still harassing my head, I heard the Lord speaking to me very clearly. The Lord said, ‘remove your shoes and place your feet on the ground. Immediately, I did so. What followed was most amazing. The headache vanished instantly.

Very many times, the miracle power of God does not effect great changes in our lives because of our fervent prayers and fastings. No! many times miracles come simply by reason of obedience. If I had disobeyed the voice of the Lord in that hall of meeting, my headache would have remained with me.
As one who had studied the Lord very carefully, the mother of the Lord told His servants to do whatever He told them to do. Soon afterwards, He instructed them to fill the water pots with water. And soon after, He instructed them to draw it out. If any of the instructions had been resisted, the recorded miracle of water being turned into the best wine would not have happened.
Peter in Luke chapter 5:4-11 should have allowed his academic brain and human intellect to dissuade him from letting down his net despite all night toils. And the result would have been continuing failure. Had the children of Israel failed to go round the walls of Jericho according to the number of times and days and shout in the end, no wall of Jericho would have fallen down.
Dearly beloved, God has a simple pattern of doing things consistently in His dealings with man. Notice that the instructions of God are often simple but man always tries to be complex. Notice also that the cost of disobedience far outweighs the demand from God. No wonder, Christ said ‘come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Learn of me for I am meek and lowly. Take my yoke; for my yoke is easy and my burden is light’ (Matt.11:28-30)

Notice that once God gives a word of instruction, His power is already set in motion to perform that word. Understand that no matter how stupid or so simple the instruction may be, so long as it is coming from God, it will not fail. For the failure of the word of God is the failure of God. And you surely know that God will never fail.
These three things man must not do when God utters a word of instruction:

(1) do not argue.

(2) Do not doubt or belittle it.

(3) Do not entertain fear or consider it so cheap or too good to be true.

So, dearly beloved, what is God demanding from you? What is that assignment the Lord is calling you to carry out for Him? Don’t consider the present discomfort. Rather ponder on the end-results of obedience or disobedience.

IN THE END, NOTHING SHORT OF GREATNESS AWAITS THE ONE WHO FOLLOWS AND OBEYS THE LORD WITH SIMPLICITY OF HEART. SUCH A ONE WILL ARRIVE AT HIS/HER DESTINATION FASTER THAN EXPECTED.

THE PIT WAS NOT A BUS STOP OF GRIEF; IT WAS A TRANSITION PORT TO GREATNESS

It was the political economist, Reverend R. Malthus, who opined that: ‘human nature and impulse undergo change overtime’. Certainly, this statement cannot be untrue about humanity especially because of man’s fallen nature of depravity as well as his susceptibility to swings owing to emotive modes and media. The same cannot however be said about the nature of God which is ever constant and full of love.
Because of man’s fallen nature driven by emotions and depravity in most situations, man is often encumbered by unsolved mysteries. One of such troubling mysteries relates to the matter of pit experience as was exemplified in the life and trials of Joseph the 11th son of Jacob (who was named Israel by the angel at Jabbok which is equally called Peniel).
The pit experience does not just blind man from seeing the love-infested nature of God, rather, the pit experience only reminds man about rational questions which are justifiable by human rational thoughts and imaginations only.
It is always during this pit experience that questions arise in man. Such questions query the silence of the Almighty and query whether the Almighty is truly loving. For instance, during pit experiences, the human minds queries: where is God whilst all these is happening to me? Is God truly loving? Don’t tell me that, is the devil stronger than God? Why can’t the Almighty do something? Is God sleeping or is He on holiday? Why are good things happening to other people, and not me?
What the one who is passing through the valley of the pit experience does not know are so many. First, he/she does not know that only those who have great dreams in life go through pit experiences. That pit experiences are never for those who are aimless and without a definite goal to pursue.
Second, the pit experience cannot swallow great dreamers; it rather reject them in the end and even transfer them to others until they will arrive at the palace podium of pomp and pageantry.
Did Judah not advise that Joseph should be thrown into the pit? Did God not arrange how the pit released him? His transitting from the pit to Potipher’s place, then to the prison and eventually to the palace of Pharaoh was not strange to God but to him.
Why? Because, God makes all things beautiful in His own time (Eccl.3:11). Why? Because, all things work together for them that Love God, and who are the called according to His purpose’ (Rom.8:28). Why? Because, ‘known unto God are all His works from the foundation of the world’ (Acts.15:18). Why? Because, God knows and even declares the end from the beginning (I.46:10).
Third, sometimes, pit experiences are part of God’s divine design en route the accomplishment of one’s destiny. In God’s divine design, the pit experience is a training ground to learn something; it is never a pit of grief. Instead, it is a port and point from which one will be transferred until one meets eventual greatness prepared before one was formed in the womb. Did it not all happen to Joseph?
The prophet Jonah, having landed in the belly of the whale (another replica of pit experience) must have concluded that it was all over. But was it truly over? Beloved of God, believe this, it is never over even when it is over.
Prophet Jonah was eventually vomited to the land of the fulfillment of his destiny, the land of Nineveh where he fulfilled divine assignment. Do you know that without fulfilling that divine assignment, there would have been no reference to prophet Jonah in the entire Bible?
Fourth, not everyone is special. Not every man has a divine agenda to accomplish. What distinguishes the special from the unspecial is that GOLD OF SPECIALTY in the special ones. This GOLD is only allowed to shine after it has been tested by the fire of trials properly so-called pit experience.
The question to you and to me is this: do you know why the Lord is allowing you and I to pass through that valley of delay and pit experiences?
Whether you and I know the answer to the foregoing question or not, just remember this that the finer the gold the more fiery and hotter the fire must be. I can only say this: enjoy that pit experience while it lasts because a palace is already prepared awaiting you and your greatness. Only make sure that you enjoy the experience in faith, hope, holiness and the allowance for the love of God to deeply permeate your heart. With these, you are certain to find succor and peace in the end.
IN THE END, HOLD DEAR TO YOUR GOD-GIVEN DREAM. IT IS THE REASON FOR YOUR AFFLICTION. AND IT IS EQUALLY THE TOOL FOR WHICH ALL AFFECTION AND ATTENTION MUST TURN TOWARDS YOU WHEN YOUR SURE MOMENT OF GREATNESS DAWNS.

THE FIERCEST BATTLE IS ALWAYS AT THE GATE
The gate in every spiritual parlance is always the point of decision. It is the ground of authority; it is time of change in the direction of success or failure. The holy Word states: ‘and for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate’(Isaiah 28:6).
This singular verse points in the direction of two functional dissimilarities. The first is that for him who will occupy the seat of judgment and record marks of success, a spirit of judgment is a sure panacea. The second reality is that those who must record victory at the entry point of success having turned on the heat of battle against every barrier, strength is a foremost criterion.
Strength in this context, it should be noted, is of diverse connotation from the conventional meaning of the word. It could mean wisdom. It could imply skill of some sort. It does not always mean energy for the performance of a task. It could rather signal fervent spiritual ability to pray through in order to attain certain success.
The question is why is strength required? And by the way, why is strength required at the gate? To start with, strength is required because when the time for a major breakthrough draws near, the greatest adversary will always show up. (See Acts.7:17-19).
For about 390 years of their sojourn in Egypt, a king Pharaoh which knew not Joseph did not arise. But as soon as the time of Israel’s deliverance drew near, a king Pharaoh who did not reckon with the greatness of Joseph who by his God-given skill saved the nation of Egypt then arose into kingship and into prominence.
Beloved, the truth is this: Romans chapter 15:4 states very emphatically that: ‘all things written aforetime are for our learning’. If the experience of the children of Israel in Egypt is for our learning, then we can be rest assured that it will happen to us at the gate of breakthroughs as it did happen to them.
Returning, then, to the question why is strength required at the gate? It is always at the gate of breakthroughs that the enemy assaults with his strongest weapon. It may be the weapon of sin as it was the case of the children of Israel. Their deliverer, the man Moses, committed the sin of murder at about their 390th year in captivity.
The implication was that their stay in affliction in Egyopt was extended by another 40 years as against 400 years promised by the Lord. (See Ex.12:40 and Gen.15:13). Oh! How so good it is for Christians to seek the Lord not for bread and butter but for his strength.
For the strength of the Lord will eventually make the bread and butter available in abundance. Christians spend much energy in prayer requesting for perishable things. Seeking the strength of the Lord and getting divine strength deposited in a christian’s spiritual system succeeds in making the Christian a commander of things to happen.
The strength of the Lord deposited in any Christian makes that Christian an authority. The manner in which a man of authority prays differs exponentially from the way lesser Christians pray. Is it not written that concerning the works of my hands, command ye me?’(Isaiah 45:11). Commanding authority against problems, mountains and negativities is the foremost attribute of the man of authority.
See and understand the secret behind Joseph who became the Prime Minister and at the same time the Finance Minister in a land which was not his nativity. Was Joseph’s secret not divine strength?
Was it not written concerning Joseph that his ‘arm was made strong by the mighty God of Jacob?’(Gen. 49:24). What distinguishes a prophet or an apostle from a pastor? Is it not sound spiritual authority borne out of spiritual strength?
Battlegrounds like spiritual gates are not meant for sleepers, indolents and weaklings. They are always for the strong who have been divinely empowered by the Lord. We christians cheat ourselves a lot because we often pursue after options, not priorities. The result of such aimless pursuit is that aimless results remains the eventual gain.
IN THE END, THE SPEED AND EFFECTIVE FUNCTIONING OF ANY MACHINE DEPENDS ON THE SOUNDNESS OF ITS ENGINE AND THE ENGINE’S ACCOMPANYING PARTS. IN LIKE MANNER, MAN WILL ATTAIN HIS DESIRED HEIGHTS IF ONLY THE SPIRITUAL STRENGTH IN HIM IS AT LEAST SLIGHTYLY ABOVE THAT OF HIS CONTENDERS.

MENDING THE BROKEN WALLS OF OUR MARRIAGE

Text: Ephesians 5:20-33

A Christian home is supposed to be the sweetest place on earth, a love nest where godly children are raised. It is a place where family love radiates as father, mother and children care for one another, pray and fellowship together and share life’s experiences together.
But in many homes, this ideal family set-up is not fully realised. Soon, the walls of marriage begin to crack! Love begins to wane, giving room to communication gap; quarrels, murmuring and suspicion becomes frequent while caring for one another diminishes. When these happen, the peace of God, joy and happiness leaves, fellowship with God and victorious Christian living becomes difficult and demonic oppressions afflict the family.
Absence of Christ from the home is the cause of the cracks in the walls of marriage. At such a time, the motives and actions of marriage partners are neither controlled nor influenced by the Holy Spirit nor are utterances regulated by the word of God.
What do we do at such a time? The Lordship of Christ over the family must be restored. Peter and the other Fishermen (disciples) employed all their boat-peddling experiences when a great tempest wanted to sink their boat but they could not control the situation until they called upon the Lord Jesus Christ who rebuked the wind and it calmed down immediately. The Christian home is like a sailing boat.
Acknowledgement of the Lordship of Christ in the home will involve repentance from sin and faith in Christ. Moreover, prayerfulness, obedience and love that overlooks other’s faults are essential ingredients for mending the cracks in the broken walls of marriage.
In The End: Peace abides in the home where every member perpetually lives a Christian life.

THE REASON FOR HEROD’S PURSUIT AFTER BETHLEHEM’S BABY IS THE SAME REASON FOR SATAN’S PURSUIT AFTER YOU
(Part 2)

Whether the church and its constituent members have met the mandate given by the Lord in John Chapter 21:15-17 is a question for the honest to answer. The unchallengeable logical truth is this: if love is synonymous with the spirit of the Living God, then chaos, envy and hatred represent clearly satan in that other given form.

If these opposites of love represent satan, and these opposites reign in the stead of love in the church, then there is no difference between the church and the wild world governed by satan.
Just take a look at the lamentation of the Preacher in Eccl.3:16: ‘And Moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgement, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there’.
By what other nomenclature shall we describe a court room? Can it not be better referred to as ‘the place of judgement’? Surely, a reference to the court room as the temple of justice cannot be termed a misnomer. But how sad it is when a court room becomes the chamber of wickedness. Then the reverse side of justice becomes prevalent.

OH! how much aching to the heart is the fact that the church is not left out in this unsavoury quagmire. Is the church not a place of righteousness? And yet, iniquity thrives there?
What is a church? Whether we configure all sorts of political, philosophical and academic definitions about this connundron or not, the fact remains that certain definitions are unchallengeable.
One of such unchallengeable definitional stance is the fact that a church is a building, inistitution, organization, etc, dispensing the truth of the gospel of Christ with love, through love and in love.
A church can also be defined as the entire body of Christ. Equally, a church is an individual Christian washed by the blood of the Lamb and living through the purity of that blood by the exemplary life of the Master.

In all of these definitional stances, one word and figure is central. This is the centrality of Christ. And indeed, this is where the actual big trouble is. Big trouble because, were Christ to be out of the equation, there would certainly have been no need for this discourse.
The inclusion and centrality of Christ means that the individual church or the organizational church must be like Christ in all its entirety. Were this to be the position of things, the world and its ideological principles will not be prevalent. Were this to be the position of things, the strength of the pursuer of Bethlehem’s Baby would have been long dashed. Why?
The church is now separated from Christ. The pursuer of Bethlehem’s Baby thrives where division is the order of the day. And where this pursuer is allowed to thrive, attacks on the church is and will continue to remain severe.

Love is a shield. Love is a ‘sheltering tree’. There is no sure spiritual security as love (1 Cor.13:1-13). The security wall of love is an inpenetrable one. Where the cord of love is singularly intact, attacks become mere fables (Jn.13, 1 Pet.3:13).
The church is constantly assaulted because it has failed in love. The church prays and hardly gets prayers answered because the church has failed in love. The church exercises large amount of faith but cannot move the smallest mountain because it has failed in love.
Do not we understand what that Man of God said in his message titled, ‘the power of His word’ that ‘mountains that cannot be moved by faith can only be moved by love’? Isn’t the Man of God so correct? For the Lord said, ‘and when ye stand praying, forgive. This is so that your father in heaven may forgive your trespasses’ (see Mark.11:25).

Even with the greatest faith, can prayer be answered while unforgiveness is dominating the heart? Can unforgiveness be taken away by faith? No! only love in the heart can exterminate the bitterness of unforgiveness. So then, we understand that most problems remain intact because love of the other man and the love of God is missing. Love therefore is a major criterion for answers to prayers and for effecting change.
So sad, the church which should dictate the affairs of things on earth, is now a-no force to reckon with because the church has missed its mission and purpose.

I challenge any one who cares to listen to challenge me in the otherwise that one thing responsible for the great growth of the two largest Christian congregations on earth today (i.e., the Catholic Faith and the Redeemed Christian Church of God) is not the prevalence of love in the heart of the majority members for one another.

What about you O Express Image Glory Ministries? How much love do you have for God and the things of God? To what extent do you love your Christian brother? WHO TOUCHED ME?

Man will continue to search for different methods of ensuring that his purpose of living is fulfilled. Many will device different strategies (either good or bad) of making life worth living. However, the choice of selecting ever lasting solution among various options is up to man.

The woman with the issue of blood for twelve years needed a touch for miracle, I pondered over how she has been living before she met the Messiah, a little hold on the hem of The Healer’s garment made her whole, the touch or contact was physical, what actually completed her victory was a spiritual transaction of FAITH. In our contemporary society, you and I have not seen Jesus with our eyes with the view to touching Him, but you can touch Him through your prayer, effectively backed up with faith.

King Solomon wisely nudged God with unusual sacrifice of twenty-two thousand oxen and one hundred and twenty thousand sheep. How did he slaughter these animals? How many days, coupled with mammoth congregation? For a man to offer such sacrifice of different offerings, it means he wanted what he could not achieve alone; what will announce him and his glory to the world. No wonder there hasn’t been a man as wise as Solomon till now.
Read the ultimate outcome of Solomon’s sacrifice “And the Lord said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and the supplication before me; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually”. 1 Kings 9:3.

Each time I read the sacrificial sacrifice of King Moab, which stated thus “And when the king of Moab saw that the battle was too sore for him, he took with him seven hundred men that drew swords, to break through even unto the king of Edom: but they could not.
Then he took his eldest son that should have reigned in his stead, and offered him for a burnt offering upon the wall. And there was great indignation against Israel: and they departed from him, and returned to their own land”. 2Kings 3:26-27.

I’m always overwhelmed how the battle turned in favour of Moab, a people that God has sold in time past to the Israelites. I concur that the heart of the Offeree(someone that offers sacrifice) and the intention are of utmost importance to God as God carries out a complete check on the heart. How could God exchange battle against His covenanted Nation, is God bias? Absolutely No. Understand that the battle was too sore for the King, he had to offer his son that would’ve reigned in his stead.

What exactly is your mission on earth or i would rather ask are you comfortable with your life? What sacrifice would you offer to God? You can touch, contact or hold Jesus In various ways which are not limited to effective prayer, quality worship and praise, sincere evangelism, sacrificial giving, good offering and quality service to God.

THE REASON FOR HEROD’S PURSUIT AFTER BETHLEHEM’S BABY IS THE SAME REASON FOR SATAN’S PURSUIT AFTER YOU

It is nothing short of an unpardonable misnomer for any Christian to think that it will happen differently to him or her from the way in which it happened to the Captain of our salvation (John.15:18, 16:33, 1 Peter 4:12). The reason it cannot happen differently is hinged on a twofold rationale. First, it is the same spirit in the dragon which pursued after the woman in Revelation chapter 12 that was equally operating in the life of king Herod. Sadly, it is the same spirit operating till now. Understand this: the dragon having failed to overtake and afterwards destroy the woman made a decision to go after the rest of her offspring meaning Christians like you and me (Rev.12:1-9, 13-17).

The second rationale is this: the Christian and any one of a different faith belong to separate kingdoms. Being of separate kingdoms has far reaching implications. One of which is that variant spirits control the two. Being variant spirits imports the continuity of contests and wars between the two varying spirits.

The deeper implication is that the Christian and the opposite one’s faith operates on separate ideologies and are to fulfil separate agenda with one saddled with the responsibility of upstaging the other. How? I explain this further later in this edition.

In the meantime, there remains a question recurringly resonating. Is it not mind-blowing that a whole king of an entire nation was so mentally deranged and so morally derailed in and from all right senses that his sole assignment for a period of time was nothing else but to pursue after a harmless Baby born in a manger?

Was that Baby a political king willing to upturn his government? NO!!! Was this Baby a special King of some sort who had arrived with a mission to alter world order and establish an unprecedented government, thereby returning humanity to God and to the prevalence of common good to all? Undoubtedly YES!!!

For indeed, this was one of the purposes for His birth. For is it not written that: ‘and the government shall be upon His shoulders?’ Was it not equally written that: ‘of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgement and justice from that time forward, even forever?’…… (Is.9:6-7).

For the Jews (and indeed for Herod who was a Roman impostor) during that era of Christ’s earthly ministry, conceiving Christ as a King who had come to rescue the innocent Jews from the iron-grip of the Romans and One who had come to alter the world order as a political figure was not just a common expectation, it was a common expression born out of common belief (Matt.2:1-2, Jn.6:15).

Let us be very clear: Christ was not a political figure. He was certainly more than any one of that sort. Though not a political figure, He had a universal mission to alter the status quo and institute a different ideology. Common or intuitive knowledge will not challenge the fact that the process of transformation—the process of altering an existing system or ideology for the introduction of another system or ideology of novelty requires a different principle.

Oftentimes, an attempt to establish a different and clearly defined principle can be very tortuous and tumultuous. Tortuous and tumultuous because human nature and its consonant impulses strive very hard at adaptation. And adaptation is the password of any change with the goal of eventful success.

The world system at the time Christ was born was an ideological mix of oligarchy and capitalism. The authority dictates to the subjects. Proletariats were the ‘toy’ of the bourgeoisies.

In short, it was a system favourable to the rich, and slaves and the poor generally were only allowed to live and exist because of the reason of servitude. In fact, the food allowed for slaves to eat was not supposed to nourish them and cause them to flourish in body composition and aesthetical looks, it was merely for the reason of keeping them alive to work, work and work.

That global order could not be described in no better language at the time but one that was outrageously illtreative and chaotic. It was in this human uprising of despair, spasmodic, and without conscionable mercy that Christ emerged with a new ideology.

Ordinarily, systemic arrangement of the global order at the time prior to Christ’s emergence was a complex one. But Christ, not only simplified His own systemic arrangement, His ideological principle was not by any means strenuous to adapt to, it was equally unasymmetric to follow.

Instead of asymmetric imbalance promoted, permitted and allowed to permeate and pervade by the bourgeosies and the world system at the time, Christ simply struck a perfectly fair balance between the rich and the poor, the proletariats and the bourgeoisies, the authorities of the day and the subjects offering obeisance to them.

His ideology was simple, founded on a twofold principle: ‘…love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind’ and ‘love thy neighbor as thyself’ (Matt.22:36-40). Ideological principles do not often exist as stand-alone. Usually, global systems augment their self-centred ideological system known as ‘order’ by establishing institutions to monitor, ensure and enforce submission. No where in human history are such institutions founded without some form of law, force and coercion. Law, force and coercion exist for the purpose of furthering global order agenda.

In fact, in more modern era, because of the reason of unconscionable sensitivity, the bar set at Westphalia in granting the doctrinal principles of non-intervention and legal equality to independence of states to states in 1648, altogether culminating into what is now known as national sovereignty, has, in more contemporary times been cynically breached by international laws all for the purpose of strengthening interests and galvanizing national leaders, territorial politicians and the powerful rich into one high class and the rest of the world in another of a defined variance.

Oh! now I remember Thrasymaccus. It was that noble man Thrasymaccus who enlightened me with his definition of law and justice in Plato’s Republic when he defined the subject as the law or the justice form set up in order to establish an advantage or fulfill the interests of the stronger. The human institution of the world global order understands that financial empowerment is key to control and governance. For is it not true that one who has six shillings under his control is lord over him who has none?

But Christ Lordship rather instituted an institution of love, equality of all men and the art and the act of seeing the next man through one’s personal pains. This means that the church as the institution founded by Christ (Matt.16:18) was so founded to teach, practice and oversee love in perfect display first by itself and of course by its constituent members.

But where is that institution, the church standing today? Are the constituent members of the church standing in the two doctrines upon which the church was instituted by Christ its founder? Is the church and its leadership not now the world exercising world global order and agenda? (TO BE CONTINUED NEXT WEEK).

The many experiences of life never cease to raise myriads of baffling questions. When life’s questions are posed to us for which we are able to provide answers, the end-result is always most relieving.
The perfect opposite is the turn of events when baffling questions leave without the prospect or possibility of answers. The aftermath is an end-result which leaves us in utter disgust, despondency and bewilderedness.
But was it really those baffling questions that inform the misery they leave behind? In my opinion, under a careful soul-searching consideration, I find that the questions of life which end up leaving us in disarray and bewilderedness leaves us with such egregious(outstandingly bad;shocking) pain because of our humanity.

Humanity because, no one wants to experience struggling, delay, loss, lack and/or suffering of any kind. The natural tendency of all humanity is to enjoy pleasures and have all things so rosy.
Ancient sound truth (which still holds true even through to present times( agrees with the unspurious notion that ‘life is not a bed of roses’. So when the prophet Habakkuk questions the Almighty in verses 2-4 and verses 12-17 of chapter 1, it is simply because the prophet was wholly being human.
Thank God; the Almighty is never devoid of resplendent answers to human and humanity’s question. Like the prophet Habakkuk, are questions already racing through your minds dearly beloved?

For instance, you have fasted and prayed many prayers. When then will I see at least a sign pointing in the direction of my prospective miracle? Understand dearly beloved that with God, seeing signs so as to bask in the euphoria of an impending miracle is absolutely unnecessary.
By the way, why should I celebrate on the mere fact that I have had a positive dream? Are dreams realities? It is true as I have written somewhere that one’s actions or inactions about dreams will determine their reality. However, basking in the euphoria of a mere sign like dream can be most troubling sometimes.

Agriculturists in dark Africa and indeed the world over look up in high expectation when the sky turns dark moments after their planting season. To them, dark skies is a sign of rain soon coming. True as that may often turn out, the further truth is that not every dark sky eventually dissolves into rain.
Indeed, the language and nature of faith differs exponentially from such human/agriculturists’ attitude. With God (and perfectly unlike the expecting agriculturists), winds need not blow. Rains need not fall before one’s testimony of overflowing streams of blessing begin (2 Kings 3:17).
This is why I contend that prayer and fasting are the first few steps of the rungs of the ladder leading up to the attainment of desired breakthroughs.

However, there is yet what the Bible calls patient faith.
Patient faith is a spiritual attitude: an unnatural disposition to God which informs Him that ‘even if my miracle does not come, nevertheless, I will continue to serve the Lord’. This is the spiritual attitude of the prophet Habakkuk which of course brought him to eternal reckoning and everlasting remembrance.
This spiritual attitude of the prophet Habakkuk in Habakkuk chapter 3 from verses 17-18 reads as follows:
’17 Though the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines; though the labour of the olive may fail, and the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, and there be no herd in the stalls–
18 Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation’.

When there exists no sign or prospect of a sign that there is a miracle in sight. When the circumstances of life pull in the polar direction from the reality of a miracle. Even in such gloomy season of life, the best attitude is the attitude of willful joy and gratitude. The best attitude is to live in hopeful expectation consciously realizing that it is impossible for God to fail or lie and to be fully persuaded that one’s day of joy will eventually break.

IN THE END, MAN RETAINS THE RIGHT TO QUESTION THE ALMIGHTY AND HE WILL OBTAIN ANSWERS SO LONG AS HIS QUESTIONS ARE EXERCISED IN HUMILITY AND FAITHFUL PATIENCE. BUT WHAT IF MAN BERATES AND RAISES HIS QUESTIONS TO THE ALMIGHTY WITH AN ATTITUDE WHICH INFORMS HIM THAT HE IS UNFAITHFUL AND UNKIND? UNDERSTAND THAT THE ALMIGHTY WILL YET ANSWER SUCH MAN BY MANIFESTING TO THAT MAN THE MIRACLES THAT THE MAN CRAVES FOR. BUT WITH WHAT FACE AND HEART WILL SUCH MAN APPROACH THE THRONE OF GRATITUDE AFTER THE ALMIGHTY PROVES HIMSELF FAITHFUL AS HE ALWAYS IS?

Christ Jesus, You are the Anointed One of the Most High. I come to you today as I am. In your mercy, help me out of my situation. Heal my soul, my spirit, my body, my life and my destiny. I acknowledge you as the only true lover of my soul. Please, deliver me on every side and save me through and through. I promise from the depth of my soul to be yours from henceforth, in Jesus name. Help me now O God. Be my Lord, my Saviour and my all in all from this day. Thank you Lord (read Ps.54 in closing and pray more).
