THE MYSTERY ABOUT SPEAKING ALTARS

The facts below are worthy of any serious and spiritual mind’s read and deep meditation.
1. Most events and developments in the dark arena are adulterations of the realm of light.
2. As it is the interest of the Spirit of God to dwell in the hearts of men, so no spirit dwells in vacuum. Evil forces too seek places of abode including the inside of the bodies of men and in altars.
3. Two things in particular control the entire universe: spirits and words.
4. Words uttered at one given time or another are always under the influence of one spirit or another.
5. Spirits are spiritual dispatch carriers and riders. The word spoken in man’s bedchamber is heard elsewhere by means of these dispatch riders though such words were spoken in the lowest tone of voice (Eccl.10:20). The air is a vehicular weapon by spirits (Ps.18:10-11). Because spirits occupy the air (Eph.2:2), the confidentiality of any word is a mere farce as far as spirits are concerned. So why not make your mind the spiritual vault for the safe keeping of your information.

6. Among many other spiritual resources, two foremost spiritual weapons which have the potential and potency of dislodging wicked spirits out of place are the spoken word of God and the blood of Jesus.

7. Altars define who we are and who we will become. Our destiny can equally be better refined from one level of greatness to another by dint of the activity of an altar.
8. When altars receive their due reverence by way of sacrifices of praise in the case of God or sacrifices of rituals like the case of Balak and Balaam, Altars’ power are ignited and reinvigorated to reveal secrets about people and places for the purpose of offering information, proferring solutions to problems or triggering evil effects with a view to overpower, weaken and/or divert people, nation or events from original divine agenda.

One of the greatest mistakes a Christian must not make is to fail to have a family altar. Why? Altars constantly speak on behalf of its owner. Why do you think Father Abraham erected altars onto the Lord in every place he went. Because, altars are a representation of communication between man and the one the man worships.
It is practically impossible for man to be involved in prayers through out the twenty-four hours of every day. Therefore, man needs a medium which constantly speaks on his behalf. This spiritual fact is well known to the children of darkness; and they engaged it so constantly.
The more concerning issue about altars is that all altars whether abandoned for years or always in constant use, is always under the consistent supervision of a given spirit. These spirits direct the affairs of the altars and ensure that the requests and gifts presented on the altar are granted/accepted.
Effective curses have their sources from spiritual altars. When a curse is broken, an investigation deep into the spirit realm will reveal that the curse got broken because the force and power of the altar behind it was destroyed. Blessings equally proceed from altars. Thus altars can make. Altars can mar.

What is an altar? An altar is a dedicated place of communication with God. Dedicated because altars are specific in position and in purpose. Positionally, altars remain static in the very spot originally assigned. In purpose, there is no other use of altars other than for praying to God and hearing from God.
Has your altar broken down? Then go the way of Elijah. In 1 Kings chapter 18:30-39. Elijah rebuilt the altar of the Lord. It is high time the altar of prayer is rebuilt and reprogrammed.
At the rebuilding of altars, one request must be made. It is the request that the Lord should pour the anointing and the Spirit of prayer and Holy Ghost fire on that altar to keep its fire constantly aglow(Zech.12:10a, 10:12).

To erect (say, a family or personal altar), dedicate a room with altar-like character for the strict purpose of prayer. You may also dedicate an altar by strictly placing a specific Bible on a dedicated table or stool in the house of your dwelling. That Bible shall not be moved about; it shall remain at that point.
Again, a specific time for meeting the Lord on a daily basis before that altar shall be allocated. Such meeting shall not be elsewhere but at the stool and the Bible. Having communion with God at the altar includes deep study of the word of God with intently-made meditation, heart-felt prayers and quality praises.
The altar shall equally include writing material for penning down revelations of rhema nature, messages from the written logos and the content of dreams and trances. As this prayers, praises, studies, and meditations are constantly done in righteousness, the altar becomes a living spiritual entity which continually speaks on behalf of the one who worships God before it.
The altar is always a place of constant battle for supremacy. How and why? Spirits of diverse kinds speak at the altar. Balaam was expecting the spirit of sorcery to speak with him after the sacrificial rituals had been performed. But the Spirit of God prevailed for Israel so that Balaam could not hear the words of the spirit of sorcery but that of God Almighty.
I decree into your life that when wicked forces come to seek for information about you or when they come against your glory, the Spirit of God shall raise up a standard against them in Jesus name. Amen.

IN THE END, THE HEIGHT OF SPIRITUALITY THAT ANY MAN WILL EVER ATTAIN IS DEPENDENT ON THE STRENGTH OF HIS/HER ALTAR.

THE MYSTERY OF UNENDING JOY IN MARRIAGE

A careful look through the above verses will reveal a common sequence of events. It is none other than the commonality of anointing and reanointing, coronation and recorronation. In every event of life, there are always three stages: the start, the midway and the end. No matter how good any start may be, it is expected that the midway should be an improvement of the start. Certainly, the end must always be the perfection of them all.
For the sequences of stratum of improvements to continue, there must be preconditions and attendant conditions. All of the above Scriptures point in the direction of anointing and reanointing for the purpose of kingship. None of them are referrals to the issue of marriage.
But if kingship requires anointing and reanointing, how about marriage which is of more paramount importance? Marriage is so important to such extent that it was never an institution founded by man but by the Almighty. As far as biblical account is concerned, the matter of kingship arose because of rebellion (1 Sam.8:4-22). It is thus an institution formulated and formed by Man.
Notice the incomparable importance of marriage in that before Christ’s earthly ministry began, before the first miracle He performed any where and before his first message, marriage took prominence and foremost priority. Notice also that even Christ’s first miracle was performed at the wedding in Cana of Galilee. So then, the pivotal importance of marriage is such that cannot be overemphasized.
Marriage is for pleasure. Marriage is for partnership. Marriage is meant for the purpose of procreation—the continuity of the human race. Marriage is ultimately meant for the fulfillment of divine purpose of the involved couple (that is, the destiny of the husband and the wife). But it appears that marriage in most instances especially in Christian homes seem to have lost its meaning and purpose. Two hallmark questions are: how is your marriage life today? Is your marriage fulfilling its divine mandate?
Some have argued that the joy and the love in marriage only lasts for seven years. Such statement is nothing else but a spiritual fallacy. Is such statement importing the notion that after the seventh year of marriage, we should get engaged in divorce and move on?
Such a statement is absolutely unscrupulous, nonsensical and abstruse. But really and truly, if your marriage today is not as sweet as your courtship was, then something is wrong and something has to be done and done quickly. What this means is that the wine of joy and love has run out in your marriage.
When you see your spouse approach you from a distance, how do you feel? Do you begin to walk towards him/her? Do you begin to smile towards him/her? If your answers are no, then your marriage needs a reanointing. Do you feel bored when your spouse is around? How is your sex life? Just normal? If the answers again are in the affirmative, you need an immediate attention in marriage. And this is by no other way but by the way of reanointing.
At the point of reanointing, the spiritual problem of every marriage is always duly tackled. The question is how does a reanointing take place regarding Christian marriages? Couples must decide to seek the face of the Lord and agree that at so so time of their marriage (say every three or every five or every seven years), there will be a reanointing of their union.
Marriage and reunion are entirely spiritual, and their antidote when trouble comes must equally be spiritual. Reanointing is done with a minister in attendance having had a prior time of diligently seeking the face of God through prayer and fasting excluding any time of sexual mating between the couple.
Before the arrival of the attending minister, the couple shall have taken a thorough washing of themselves with salted warm water. On arrival, the minister in attendance will not only bless the union afresh but will equally anoint them physically at the end of all things.
After sessions of prayers, the attending minister shall begin by administering the holy communion to the couple. As Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, the attending minister shall attend the reunion with wine purchased with his own money. He shall set table of meal before the couple, bless the meal, open and bless the wine and serve the couple with the wine himself.
The attending minister shall equally anoint the house wherein the couple are resident. Such attending minister of sacred reunion shall not be a woman. It is strictly a male minister’s assignment. On his departure, such attending minister shall not be accompanied that the blessings he has pronounced shall remain within the four walls of the couple’s residence.
Before his departure, the couple shall give him offerings as much as they can. Note, the attending minister shall not have eaten any food since the previous day. Remember that whatever is not of faith is sin. Therefore, all of these spiritual exercise must be done with faith firmly affixed to Him who is the institutor of marriage.
Finally, tell it to them MY people that the accessibility of money to men triggers and turns on the ego in men. The inaccessibility of money to men gives men the sense of being a weakling and triggers a reactive mode and mood in men.
Tell it to them that poverty is a curse. Tell them that by all righteous means men in marriage and before marriage must pursue financial prosperity as they equally pursue growth in righteousness. Tell it to them that I said a marriage without money or financial prosperity is a marriage with fake peace and soon heading for the rocks.
Tell it to them that no stingy husband will find the mercy and favour of the Lord. Tell them that the wife is the foremost priority in the marriages in which I, the Lord is pleased. Tell them that a disobedient and haughty wife will not be safe in childbearing. And, if she escapes, her eternal rest in the end cannot be with ME.
The wife that honours her husband shall be exalted above her equals. The one that loves less and dishonours shall struggle in many things. Tell them that MY problem is not the problem of giving MY children their own spouse, MY problem is that many of MY children are struggling with ME in MY bid to remould them.
Tell them that it is not God’s will that God’s people should lack and suffer losses especially in Christian homes. Tell them that the Lord is present in marriages that are full of happiness. Tell them that suffering marriages are a great pain to MY heart says the Lord.
Tell them that a happy Christian home glorifies ME and in glorifying ME I, the Lord is well fed and strengthened to fight their battles. For ‘is not the joy of the Lord your strength?’ Tell them Christian homes which fail to pray together and praise ME in unison succeed in leaving ME out of their life and destiny’s equation.
Tell them that I, the Lord, am alive. I am still on the throne. I will not change. And, I, the Lord, am good and will remain good to MY children that seek ME.

THE MYSTERY OF THE THREE MEN, THE THREE KIDS, THE THREE LOAVES AND THE ONE BOTTLE OF WINE

One basic characteristic of the Holy Scripture is that ‘the Scripture of Truth’ known as the Bible neither uses words carelessly nor without purpose. When insignia, emblems or events are used by the Bible, such references always carry symbolic interests and intentions.
The point is an obvious one; to every story, event, account, insignia, word or emblem engaged by the Bible, there is a mystery to unravel, a moral lesson to imbibe and a message for direction. Without much ado, as someone has said, ‘the Bible is God in book form’. And I conclude that God is a mystery, a mystique, a message of messages and the self-existing mentor of all past, existing and impending mentees.

With these alliterational descriptions, a journey into the Holy Scriptures will do the greater good. For nothing else teaches wisdom more than the words of Him who is the ‘power’ and the ‘wisdom of God’ (1 Cor.1:24). The content of 1 Samuel chapter 10 verses 3 and 4 states in verbatim as follows:
‘3 Then shalt thou go on forward from thence, and thou shalt come to the plain of Tabor, and there shall meet thee three men going up to God to Bethel, one carrying three kids, and another carrying three loaves of bread, and another carrying a bottle of wine;
4 And they will salute thee, and give thee two loaves of bread; which thou shalt receive of their hands’.
If the Bible does not use words carelessly and without purpose, what then is the purport, the interest and the unequivocal intention of these emblems as contained in verse 4 above? Are there similar passages in the Holy Scriptures where any of these words have been engaged or used?

I can never understand the kind of queer person king Saul was. A man who was told about the type of life that awaited him yet nonetheless, he could not say no to becoming the king (1 Sam.9:11-18, 10:25). I can never understand king Saul’s psychy and psychological make-up. A man who was informed about his disastrous end, and yet he held onto the power which was soon to come to an end (1 Sam.13:10-15, 15:10-29 and 28:3-6, 15-19).
I can only conclude that king Saul was a man who had inaudinate affection for power; a man who was full of himself and a man who preferred ending pleasure to eternal pain.
But really and truly, were these ailing attitudes the original problem of king Saul? The unequivocal answer is NO! King Saul’s problem was originally from the very start. King Saul missed it right from the very beginning of his ministry and calling.

O dear pastor, what is God saying to you about your divine assignment? Are you still on the right track? What is your fire life like now in comparison to the time of your beginning?
Remember Pastor, certain signs were given to you by the Lord from the start. Are you still keeping those signs in view? O Pastor, like king Saul, are you not in position of authority? Are you therefore power drunk? Are you the Lord over your congregation?
O my dear brother Pastor, remember from where you have fallen and return and pursue your first love afresh (Rev.2:4-5). The call of every man remains in unraveling mode through the years of existence. As such, it is for everyone to always revisit his initial calling, renew his/her anointing and always return to ‘Bethel’ for fresh consecration, fresh commitment and fresh encounter like the first time.
King Saul was a perfect opposite of spiritual remembering, purposeful return and fresh reanointing. Spiritual remembering of initial encounter, purposeful return and fresh reanointing in the secret place with one’s Maker and instructor always helps one to ask the needful questions.
Not once did King Saul ask God for the mystery behind the ‘three men’ who met him, the ‘three kids’ being carried by ‘one’ of them, the ‘three loaves of bread’ out of which he was given only ‘two loaves’. At no time did he attempt to find out why he was given only two loaves and the one kept back. And not once did it bother him to inquire about the ‘one bottle of wine’ which was never offered to him.
Unfortunately, all these ten emblems or insignia (three men, three kids, three loaves and one bottle of wine) represented things so necessary for his career and call to divine assignment.

Brother Pastor, do you know fully well your spiritual job description? Are you mimicking someone else’s bishoprick office? If that is the case Sir, then I dare tell you Sir that you are not likely to last long.
Brother Pastor, do you know your inner carcus well enough? Who is the zebra-like personality (partly black and partly white) among them? Brother Pastor, do you respect governing authority of your church—like a spiritual Samuel? Do you flout governmental instruction O brother Pastor because you are a spiritual authority and you consider the government a mere political wing of authority? Then Sir, I suppose that you are yet to absorb Romans chapter 13:1-7 and Mark chapter 12:17 into your spiritual system. And dear brother Pastor, flouting governmental authority is same as flouting divine instructions which was the inherent custom of king Saul.

When God calls a man, he informs that man about that man’s impending personal problems and the present problems of the people that He, God is sending him to (Acts.9:10-16, 26:12-18, Jer.1:4-12, Ex.3:4-22, 1-15). These information are expectedly given by God for the purpose of a compass which will keep the called one in focus.
Apostle Paul for example constantly kept his conversion experience and initial divine instructions perfectly in view. But king Saul failed to unravel the mystery behind his encounter. Therefore, he did not receive the divine instructions nor understand them. And neither could he keep up with them nor keep them in view.
What a mystery! King Saul met ‘three men’. These were a type of the Blessed Holy Trinity carrying seven emblems of spiritual importance. They were seven items for sacrifice, physical satisfaction, sustenance and solution’s-perfect.

Sacrifice because the three kids represented his personal problems which was willful disobedience (1 Sam.13:8-14, 15:19-20, 22-23, Heb.10:26-28). Kids are the young of goat and no such animal is known with stubbornness and egregious disobedience as the generation of goats.  Throughout the old testament, goat or kids which are young goats were used as sin offering to mellow down the offence of sin and disobedience. Examples are found Numbers 28:15&22.

God Almighty knows all men inside-out (Jn.2:23-25). So, by the sight of kids on his journey back home prior to his coronation, king Saul was to deal with his life’s most fundamental problem which is disobedience to divine instructions (1 Sam.13:11-14, 15:24).
In other words, king Saul was the man in the mirror who at the same time was the greatest enemy of his own life. If he had conquered himself, then God would have established him and God would have been the enemy of his enemies—revenging on his behalf (2 Cor.10:6).
Satisfaction, because the three loaves represented satisfaction for the body. But such physical satisfaction for the body was three-quarter for he got two out of three loaves. Again, such satisfaction of the body which was without the inclusion and attention of the Holy Spirit which the wine represented was absolutely incomplete.

One question is- why is the wine a representation of the Holy Spirit? Wine makes the heart merry and springs up liveliness during celebrations. So does the Holy Spirit too in the life of the Christian. There are certain emblems in the Bible which represent the Holy Spirit or His presence. Water (Ezek.47:1-9, wind (Acts.2:1-4 and wine and oil (Rev.6:6).
The next question of serious concern is but why was king Saul’s case different from that of Abraham? In Genesis chapter 14 verses 18-20, the two emeblems of both wine and bread were given over to Abraham, not the bread alone like the case of king Saul. So why was he given the two loaves excluding the bottle of wine?
The simple answer is that Most gifts are got from God by the process of making request (Matt.7:7). Undoubtedly, the Holy Spirit is got by the process of asking (Lk.11:13). He is never free like physical sustenance.
But one may raise the question that but Abraham did not ask before he was given. True! But Abraham had triggered a spiritual action by sowing seeds of ten percent of everything ahead which meant that the spiritual law of reciprocity was already triggered in return. For is it not written that ‘he that watereth shall be watered also himself? (Prov.11:25).
King Saul got body/flesh support by grace without asking but he did not obtain spiritual might and strength—that is, the Holy Spirit and His comforting joy which comes strictly by asking. No wonder, he had physical strength to win physical battles (1 Sam.14:47). but he could not go far with God. Why? Because God is a Spirit, and those who will serve Him satisfactorily will only succeed through Spirit led media (Jn.4:23-24).

Dear brother Pastor, is your ministry Spirit led or fleshly controlled? Are you engaging dark powers in order to enhance ministerial progress? There is something which sustains more than physical food. It is the Spirit of God. His triumphal and transforming influence in the life of a believer is both resplendent and splendid.

The Holy Spirit is the dynamite power of God; should any ministry be so prosperous, enormous in number and countless in success made, if it lacks the guide of the Holy Spirit, it will soon fizzle into oblivion or such ministry will die with the death of the founder.
In summary, all the seven items carried by the three men signified the first seven years of king Saul’s reign. Had King Saul obtained all the seven items and understood the mystery behind them and worked in line with the divine instructions encoded in them, his kingdom would have been established forever. But king Saul’s failures began after he had reigned only for two years—two years for the two loaves of bread (1 Sam.13:1-15, Acts.13:21-22).
There would have been no need for king David had king Saul been steadfast in obedience. Albeit, the Holy Scriptures must be fulfilled that the throne of David shall not be left empty. Obedience pays; obedience establishes (1 Pet.5:10); obedience brings blessings.

THE MYSTERY OF ‘AND LO, I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS’

The secret behind Joseph’s success, many would doubtlessly argue, is his gift of dreaming, his cup of divination, divine favour or his inspired ability to interpret dreams.
I contend so sharply however in the polar direction. Unreservedly, the secret of Joseph’s success cannot be anything else other than the fact that he had the God of heaven constantly on his side and with him.
Please understand dearly beloved that it is one thing for God to be on one’s side. It is another thing for God to be with one. Understand further that God is with everybody. For He is omnipresent; He is everywhere and so, He is around everyone whether in the air that blows around everyone, on the land on which everyone walks or in the skies which is above everyone.

It is however a statement of sound spiritual fact that God is not on the side of everyone. The Godhead is perfectly pure; His purity is defiantly stunning and has no place for the tiniest impurity. As such, based on the purifying blood of the Lamb, the Blessed Holy Trinity is constantly only on the side of those who have submitted their lives to God through the Saviour Jesus Christ.
Notice that at no point did the Bible inform mankind that ‘the Lord was with Joseph’ until Joseph had passed the test set for him by satan through the lustful and the fleshly corruption of the wife of Potiphar.

Likewise, no one earns the grace to have the trinity on his/her side until the test of Calvary have been successfully passed and other Christian conditions commanded by God have been fully heeded.
The question concerning the last phrase is how? In verse 19 of Matthew chapter 28, the Lord gave a clear commandment to His own instructively saying: ‘go ye into all the world and make disciples of all nations’…… Having seen their hearts of willing compliance then He followed up His commandment with an eternal blessing, promising to remain with them even to the end of the age.

There is a note of serious observation here. It is the observational note of due and worthy service. My sister, you have been dutifully serving the Lord. Are you already planning in your heart to halt that service? Why? Because somebody in that ministry is misbehaving? Because God is not turning up as He ought to?
Whatever is your reason. Please remember Joseph. Even while he was persecuted and imprisoned, he kept the fire of his divine service aglow. Whilst in prison, Joseph nevertheless interpreted dreams and continued to give God glory for the gift of interpretation of dreams even before Pharaoh until that gift made not just a room but a palace for him (Prov.18:16).
Who can tell whether it is in the course of your rendering service that your delay, your stagnation and problem of whatever kind will be solved. Who has the ability to predict God and the wonders of His hands?
Christ commanded His followers to see the great commission of global soul-winning and evangelism as a qualifying criterion for all blessings. How and what does this mean?

Every blessing that a man will ever have and every height that any man will ever attain are all attached to only one commandment. It is the commandment to make Christ known having known Him personally first. It is on only this one spiritual assignment of soul-winning and evangelism that the Lord promised to be with man. In no other was this promise made.
My dear beautiful daughter and sister, you sing in the choir and so sonorously too. That is good. But the Lord is asking me to tell you that you should lend your voice to Him in practical soul-winning and person to person evangelism. What do you do in the office? Find time for evangelism there. Every Saturday is not for merriment, laundering, and recreational activities, go out for evangelism.
The mystery is this: whosoever has the Lord on his side and with him has access to all blessings. For the Lord Himself is the blessing. And if the One who is the blessing of all blessings be with one and on one’s  side, would there then be any need to ever be in want of blessings?
Listen to me dearly beloved, paying tithes and offerings and supporting the work of God is very good and very rewarding. However, evangelism, soul-winning and service in the kingdom is of pivotal importance. Ruth met her husband while serving God in Boaz’s field.

Part of the reason for attending that vigil was because I thought I was going to minister that night. At the end, because I was just recovering from malaria I was not called upon to minister. But right there at the minister’s stand where I sat, the Spirit of God ministered to a lady in the midst of a crowd of people possibly close to 2000 saying: ‘that man over there is your husband’. She is the QUEEN of my heart and home today.
What can’t God do for the man duly and worthily serving in His vineyard. In the modern world of Christianity today, deep backsliding and diversion from Bible truth is now the order of the day. In some churches today, evangelism has now become a departmental assignment, no longer for everybody. But Christ made it compulsory for everyone. O backslidden pastor and hell-going church (irrespective of how so great a pastor and mighty a church you are), if you don’t repent and make evangelism a priority for all members, hell is well prepared and awaiting you.

YOU ARE THE NEXT WONDER

Has the question ever been raised by your intelligent mind that when will these prayers and encouragement become a reality in my own life and in my own situation?
Whether we believe it or not, the first and the surest answer to the foregoing question is that God will never miss His determined time and timing. Recently, my wife informed me about the account of a sixty-eight year old woman who gave birth to twins. This was not a fable; my wife saw one of the twins being carried by the woman herself and the other being carried by her aged husband.
Listen, beloved, the worst the enemy can do to you is to delay your destiny. Certainly, whilst God remains alive, the enemy cannot destroy your destiny, and this the enemy knows fully well.

The second answer to the above poser is that every tear that you shed in your heart and in your eyes through prayers are being recorded by the Almighty (Ps.56:7-8). When God’s divine bottle reaches its brim, then every delay to all your prayers shall suddenly fizzle away and become a thing of the past. By that time, verse 9 would have become unstoppable (Ps.56:9).

The greatest secrets are: don’t fear and don’t fall back from Christ. In my case, God promised me that He will restore sight to my two eyes. It has been years now; and I am still patiently waiting. Why waiting? Because it will surely happen; and it shall be as He has told me.
Imagine verse 6 of our first text. It reads: ‘however, they were expecting that he would swell up or suddenly fall down dead. But after they had looked for a long time and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds and said that he was a god’.
Indeed, the Apostle Paul was a god under the Almighty God. But more than this, there is a succinct lesson between the lines. For a viper to fasten itself to one’s body will immediately call for an instinct reaction. Such is always a serious instinctive reaction of panic.
But the exact opposite was the response from this great Apostle. Why? Knowledge will inform anyone that there are basically five things which produces the true reality of what is contained in any man. Put differently, when any of these five things take hold of anyone, the true essence and real personality of that person will step out into open glare and stir up in perfect display.

These five things include:

(1), Alcohol: what you do after alcohol has taken hold of you is what you truly are innately.
(2) Money: money intoxicates like alcohol. But here is the truth. The pride and the resulting arrogance displayed by you after you have become wealthy is the very pride and arrogance which have both been resident in you even when you were poor. Money only became a means which brought the ends which is pride and arrogance into open manifestation.
(3) Power: power is not meant to control a man. Rather, man is supposed to be in control of power. But when power takes the driving seat in any man’s life, the ends of such man is that he become unapproachable and disrespectful.

Shockingly, do you know that there are husbands who cannot engage their wives in matters concerning common things of the home and marriage. Such husbands simply say, ‘am I not the head?’ Such husbands even draw their feigned arguments from Bible verses by noting vehemently that the Bible says, the husband is the head of the woman (1 Cor.11:1-7).
Yes Sir, you are the head, but have you forgotten that she is the neck carrying you? And how many times has the neck ever complained about the carrying of the head? So, if the neck is constantly and “uncomplainedly” carrying the ever heavy head, why not engage the neck who is the wife in this instance in the bonding business of the home and life generally?Mr. husband, the problem in actual fact, is not the problem of headship. It is that egoistic driving force of power.

Mr. politician, when you needed the people’s vote, you stooped low. Now the people have given you what your itching throat craved for, and the same people are not allowed any close to your office. You are simply power mad. And the madness of power is now drawing out your true portrait.
(4) Sex and woman: do you know that sex and woman intoxicate? Do I hear you say how? Have you noticed that when young girls and young boys begin to involve themselves in illicit sex, then consequently they become rude and unruly?
Watch out for a man who has been a little quiet and easy-going. After a short while, he becomes fortunate to find a fine young lady to date. Suddenly, his wings shoot out and his once-clipped feathers begin to flutter and make incredulous noise. His woman exposed the true reality in his innate personality.
(5) Fear: the greatest exposer of the faithless and the doubtful is fear. Let us learn a lesson from the story of the Apostle Paul. Here was a man of like passion as we are, whom God had promised that he will testify concerning Him in Rome (Acts.23:11).
Now arriving on the island of Malta in Acts 28:1-6, a viper had been waiting only to sting him so that he will die and fail to arrive in Rome in fulfillment of his Apostolic assignment. If the Apostle Paul had died on the island of Malta because of simple snake bite, God would have been made a liar.
What the viper came to do to Apostle Paul was not just to bite and introduce poison into his system. The viper’s ultimate aim was to attack him with the spirit of fear so that he would be detarred from fulfilling his destiny in Rome. But what was contained in the Apostle Paul which is faith in Him who had promised stirred up and confronted the fear brought by the attack of the viper.
Fear then can be viewed to man as a depressant spiritual drug and an intoxicating spiritual steroid engineered against faith. And if in the day of the adversity brought by fear, our faith fails, then we have given occasion for the agenda of the enemy to be accomplished and that of God for our lives to be delayed until another season.

Beloved, have you been postponing the day of your breakthrough by being susceptible to fear? Please understand that for every moment when we demean God by surrendering to fear and discouragement, we debase God and uplift the enemy. For every time when we uplift God and shame the enemy, then celebration of our glory follows.
Please realize this dearly beloved that no fear or discouragement comes the way of any man except that man is at the very gate of a major breakthrough. At that moment, fear and or discouragement shows up in order to make one miss the divine mark either by making one to sin or to back track from a positive decision or from a good course of destiny.

THE RECOMMENDATION AND THE POWER OF HYGIENE

The content of Romans chapter 7:18 states: ‘for I know that in me (that is, in my flesh), dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not’.
Just as so discomforting is a dirty body to any person, so is a life paraded by sin so much discomforting to God. And who cannot tell of his own physical or spiritual condition by himself if such person is not to be most deceiving to himself?
Those who study that brand of social sciences known as behavioural science tell us that there are three ways through which a person’s psychometrics can be determined.
These three ways include: (1) by what that person acts or does. (2) by what that person says. And (3) by the testimony of others concerning that person.
Like the behavioural sciences, the hygiene character of a person tells so much about a person. How much one values his/her health, environment and even his/her finances is a clear indication of such person’s personalty dynamics. Of course, hygiene is a core aspect of everyone’s personalty dynamics.

Neatness, many generations have contended and concluded, is next to godliness. That cannot be far from the truth. For God Himself recommended unceasing hygiene in the course of carrying out bishoprick assignments.
Divers washings of the body before conducting any spiritual assignment or even before entering into the priesthood office was and still is a foremost criterion for acceptable service to our Maker.
Although the Old Testament was a shadow of the reality of the New Testament. Nevertheless, divine instruction to eschew uncleanness of the physical body was and remains mandatory for the priests.
Seriously speaking, by the continuous washing-of of the human body demanded by God in the Old Testament, The Almighty God was pointing to the purity of the heart much more to be emphasized later in the new Testament.

For the Spirit of God by the writings of the great Apostle Paul in Romans chapter 6:1-2 instructively informs that ‘…… shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? God forbid’….
It has and continues to be argued that what is good for the goose is equally good for the ganda. Therefore, if constant bathing and consistent washing-of of the body is so vitally important for the members of the priesthood, then there is no exception for anyone. Why? What is good for one is certainly good for all.

In our modern day as it was in ancient past, one for all is equal to all for one. If the war against the lack of hygiene is to be won and Covid 19 pandemic is to become a relick of a lost age, then the antidote is that everyone must become his brother’s keeper by maintaining the highest levels of hygiene.
The question is how?

• Stop the shameful habit of rough-handling money or writing on money notes.
• Cease from keeping dirty pans and plates in the wash-basin or zink overnight.
• Dirty husband who will not wash-up the seed of his body (semen) after the moment of intimate affair should immediately desist from such habit (see Lev.15:16-18).
• Women who care less about their menstrual pads and menstrual clothes should give their unclean actions a second thought (see Lev.15:19-27).
• Avoid dirty surfaces, dirty clothes, sweating and sweaty attires. Avoid soaking dirty clothes for too long also.
• Use sanitizers, izals, bleach, detergents and other disinfectants very regularly.
• Children’s toys and playkits should be disinfected or soaked into warm water before they are handed over to them. And should such toys and playkits still fall on the ground afterwards, they should be disinfected again.
• Refuse to eat food already dropped onto the floor and do not allow your children do the same.
• As a health worker or a political ‘animal’ (using the language of Plato), who is saddled with the responsibility of taking certain decision with respect to people’s health during this time, don’t inflate figures in order to justify your corrupt spending because if Covid 19 does not get you, your lies will catch up with you some day, and be sure that that will be more disastrous for you.
• Use face masks.
• Maintain the highest standard of holy living. Remember that holiness is a shield; it saves from satan and can even save from corona-virus.
• Be informed that before the next person you are the first beneficiary for keeping to the strict rules of hygiene. And why won’t you pursue to your favour that which will be of immense benefit to you?
• Maintain some distance when you are involved in conversation with another. For Aaron the priest of the Most High distanced himself from the rest of the people during the performance of priestly assignment (Lev.16:17).
• Pastors, please avoid laying hands suddenly on anyone except when you are so directed by the Spirit of God. For if corona-virus cannot get you, remember: ‘lay hands suddenly on no one. Be not partakers of other men’s sins’ (1 Tim.5:22).
• Make it a duty to ‘afflict your soul’ at least once a week with fasting. If anything, fasting has a way of sanitizing the soul; it is at all times a spiritual cleanser.
• Parents, please stop french-kissing your children early in the morning with unwashed mouth all in the name of love. If you truly love them, you will sanitise that mouth with quality paste and effective brushing first before kissing them. All through out the night whilst your mouth was closed, it had become a household accommodating all forms of bacteria. Don’t spread such into those innocent children during that unwarranted French-kissing.

IN THE END, SEE TO IT THAT YOU DO NOT FLOUT DIVINE GUIDANCE. FOR OBEDIENCE BRINGS BLESSINGS AND LEADS INTO THE PATH OF SAFETY.
