HEAVENLY HELPER
How do you feel when it is clear to you that you are the only one who is in the sole position to help another person out of his predicament? Do you not feel pressed to do something at all Godly cost?
I was fortunate by God’s grace and mercy to win the Shell BP scholarship as an undergraduate student whilst studying at the University of Lagos (UniLag). Having received the scholarship for the 1999-2000 session, I determined to purchase something which I craved for very seriously at the time. Then came a church member who needed money for his Masters programme in Mass Communication.
I was caught between purchasing my interest and/or supporting this church member brother. The brother frankly told me that if I would not be able to assist him he would simply drop the programme.
I felt pressed to help him. Thank God that the grace of God helped me to come to his aid. That Masters certificate gave him his first job as a lecturer. He has since then been to Germany, and now he is a Ph.D holder, lecturing in Babcock University.
Listen, beloved, if I, a mere mortal can be compassionate towards another, then think about the Almighty. Will He not speedily aid you out of that predicament? Psalm 121 requires deeper meditation – Reflect on God’s kindness – Reflect on His ability and willingness to help – Reflect on the fact that if you are truly His own, then your shame, pain and afflictions are His too – Reflect on the fact that if then you fail, then He, God has failed.
But you know it even to the depth of your soul that He cannot fail. Therefore, please be encouraged my sister, and be lifted my brother. Your star will shine in the end. Your own time will not fly past you. And though others may be laughing now, you will certainly laugh too and laugh best in the end.
IN THE END, THE BATTLE IS YET RAGING ON BECAUSE GOD IS YET TO ARRIVE IN THE ARENA OF BATTLE. THE FIRE OF DELAY IS STILL SO STRONG BECAUSE THE TIME OF YOUR COOLNESS IS YET A LITTLE AWAY. YOUR SHAME IS BECOMING MORE OBVIOUS BECAUSE YOUR CELEBRATION SHALL NOT BE HIDDEN FROM ALL EYES. LISTEN, IT IS NOT DARKEST AT MIDNIGHT; NO! IT IS DARKEST BETWEEN 5 A.M. TO 5:30 A.M.IT MEANS THAT THE DARKEST TIME IS JUST BEFORE 6A.M. SO THEN, YOU HAVE ALREADY BROKEN THROUGH SINCE AFTER MIDNIGHT, AND VERY SOON YOU WILL BREAKOUT INTO GREATNESS AND FROM THEN ON YOU WILL CONTINUE TO BREAK-FORTH.

Question: The great questions again! When was the last time that you preached to any soul? Do you serve God with joyful heart or with reluctance? How much hurt is in your soul against that fellow? Won’t rather forgive them and forget their mischief so that you can rightly serve your loving Father? When was the last time you smiled genuinely and truly from your heart about yourself bearing in mind the bright days to come? when was the last time you heard a force praying within your belly without your consciousness? When was the last time you gave some thing to support God’s work apart from your tithes and offerings? When was the last time you supported any man to fulfill a divine or a personal agenda? When was the last time you put smile on the face of someone?
Answer: Hmmm!.
