LITTLE THINGS THAT COUNT (Part 1)
Happy Easter to everyone, in the name of the Lord Jesus, Amen. In this edition of The Message Now, I want to begin by reminding us what most of us do not want to hear because some of us are now so discouraged.
That reminder is this: 2018 is by far a better and brighter year than the several years past. For many, their best year was the year they got married. And, since that year, there has been no other.
Even your unbelief will not hinder this prophecy from breaking into reality: that by the mercy of God, 2018 will be by far sweeter than that year of your marriage or whatever year before now, in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Apart from the earlier editions of The Message Now (and the divine principles therein stated to be followed), here is a series of topics that will catapult you this year into your greatness. It is the series titled ‘Little Things That Count’.
For today, there is a little thing which counts so much to God but viewed as unimportant to man and by man. The trouble is that this very important thing which counts so much to God cannot be performed by God for Himself but by man for God.
It is the matter of praise. God cannot praise Himself for such will amount to self-praise. As I have stated much earlier in one of the editions of The Message Now, self-praise is no praise. The advent of man’s existence was birth primarily for one purpose: to worship God.
However, praising God does not come cheap or with ease. The winds of life often condition us to look in the other direction of praising God to the direction of murmuring, complaining and lying down in depression.
What man often does not realise is that circumstances of life are storms over which the power of God rides and thrives. Another thing man fails to understand is that the art and act of praising God is a choice.
When man chooses to praise God in the midst of his/her storm, something extraordinary happens. God turns that man’s storm into spiritual horse and begins to ride high above the earth crust.
As man carries on with his praises, God rides the more and the horse runs the faster. Therefore, praises in the midst of storm is a spiritual fuel for the spiritual horse being ridden by God. There is something between the lines here.
The question is: as the spiritual horse is constantly fuelled, how soon is the length of the storm soon over. Not as soon as possible as man often contemplates. But with God, it is as soon as fuelled by praises.
Your complaining question is that the first quarter is already over, is life going to continue in the same pattern? The answer to that question in the light of praises is the answer by man. I repeat again even as the Spirit of the Lord just revealed to me in the course of writing now.
Listen, you are not going to remain in that spiritual desert and wilderness of life. The Lord just revealed a bright year ahead to me. This quarter shall certainly make you smile. The dark days of July and August shall pass over you without touching you.
And the ber-months of September, October, November and December that shall follow shall be so bright and gladdening that you shall have no other reason but to shout for joy. But dearly beloved, steer the ship of your heart in the opposite direction of sadness, sorrow and depression.
Take the choice to praise the ever faithful, covenant keeping God. I said, He will not fail you. Take time out every day to give Him quality praise-offering.

- O God, steer up in me a heart of gratitude.
- O God, help me to be patient for you know what you are doing.
- O Spirit of praises and adoration, envelope me.
- Pray for the discouraged and the depressed.
- O God, reunite every broken home and restore joy to them.
- My stolen money, joy and spiritual soundness, return to me by the strength of the hand of the Lord.
- Spells of darkness, crash as I begin to praise Jehovah (the covenant keeping God).
Your storm is soon over.
