(Judges.14:16-18, 16:6-17, 28, Psalm 39:1)
SATAN SUCCEEDS THROUGH NO OTHER MEDIUM EXCEPT THROUGH THAT WEAK PART OF MAN’S FLESH
Ever wonder why the Psalmist states in Psalm 39:1 that: ‘I said I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me’?
It is because satan has no two strategies for ensnaring man into the ditch of temptation and sin. It is simply one. That one is the advantage taking of the weak part of man’s flesh or body by satan.
Understand that satan is a psychologist and a strategist and he employs the instrumentality of psychology with effortless ease. Satan’s one and only one strategy is to study the weak part of man’s flesh. Having gained understanding of that one weak part, then he makes that weak part the straw through which he violates and defiles the man through ensnaring. Put aptly, for satan to succeed over a man, he needs the co-operation of that man’s physical body parts that are susceptible to some sort of weakness.
By the grace and the Spirit of the Lord, the Apostle John understood this mystery too well. In his spiritual thesis to mankind, Apostle John itemised two body parts in his first Epistle in chapter 2:16 which satan employs the most having understood that they are the two parts of the human body most vulnerable to his schemes.
Unfortunately, many of us do not give these two parts of our body the spiritual attention they deserve. Understand that every physical body parts of man require the touch of most fervent prayers in order not to answer satan’s call. Was it not when Eve ‘saw’ the fruit that she then caved-in to satan’s desire?
Seen in that context, see Apostle John’s revelatory thesis also. The two parts identified by Apostle John include:
(1) ‘the lust of the flesh’ (man’s heart and the things that go on in there);
(2) ‘the lust of the eyes’ (the eyes of man and the things that go on in there); and
(3) ‘the pride of life’ (man’s heart and the things that go on in there).
Understand that from the first two texts of this edition certain facts are clearly deducible from Samson’s account and experience. These facts are stated as follows:
(1) That sexual immorality is so vile and it is a sin seriously abhorred by God yet in Samson’s situation, it was not sexual sin which sold him into captivity, slavery and eventual destruction.
(2) That indeed it was unacceptable for an Israelite to marry from other nations in Samson’s day. And by so doing, Samson violated God’s commandment and thus he committed the sin of divine disobedience. Yet it was not the sin of disobedience which sold Samson into satanic captivity, slavery, servitude and eventual destruction.
(3) That it was Samson’s weak body parts which sold Samson into captivity, slavery, servitude and eventual destruction in the Philistine prison.
(4) That the two weak body parts in question are: first is Samson’s heart which couldn’t stand in the face of much pressure and the same heart of Samson which couldn’t contain man’s pressure orchestrated by satan. Second weak body part was Samson’s mouth which couldn’t be restrained from cheaply flowing out most sensitive spiritual information.
(5) That if a man can judge the content of what flows out from his mouth before such contents are expressed, such a man will attain success with ease and be safe from many troubles.
(6) That a mouth and tongue which journeys ahead of a deeply thinking heart and an intelligent, bright head is the mouth and the tongue of a fool and the most unintelligent.
(7) That Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya is far from being wrong in his very terse message that: ‘a man’s mouth is the tool of his deliverance, and at the same time, it is the tool of his destruction’.
(8) Get this fact clear that no sexually immoral person is actually sexually lose because of the misuse of that person’s sex organs. Rather, such a person is sexually lose because of that person’s inability to contain and control the things that go on in that person’s heart.
Did not the wisest king that has ever lived inform us that: ‘guard your heart with all diligence. For out of it are the issues of life’? Give it a serious thought for some moments; do you think there is any temptation you have fallen into which did not involve obviously or unobviously your human body part or parts?
The temptation to steal and the eventual sin of stealing involves the heart contemplating the sin, the eyes which are allured into the commission of the sin and the hands and sometimes the mouth which carries out the commission and the instruction.
Questions may arise on the subject of this edition of The Message Now especially with certain things which do not involve some sort of physicality like the sin of fear. An example is Job.
Many Christians contend that Job committed no sin. Understand that the prophet Job did commit sin. It was the sin of fear. Fear is sinful and will often produce torment. Before the tragedies of Job began, Job first committed the sin of fear in his heart (Job.3:25).
Listen to me dear brother, dear sister! Was there any time you feared you might marry late? That fear is sin. You have got to repent of it today. Why? Because fear is not of faith. And whatever is not of faith is not of God. Understand that fear will always produce the unknown.
I feared that I might not be married perhaps because of my visual handicap. That fear kept me in the waiting loo until a month before I turned 39 years of age. In the name of the Lord Jesus, such shan’t be the lot of any reader of this edition.
What is your unexpressed thought and uttered statement about your next meal, the next accommodation money, your children school fees and even your sleep tonight? Please, dear brother and dear sister: choose the path of faith from today. Stop taking thought of tomorrow only pray about them. The Lord who knows about tomorrow will handle tomorrow.
Understand that everything you will ever need was first created before you were. This, Samson failed to understand. For if Samson understood that everything he will ever need was first created before he was, then in Judges chapter 16:28, he would have used that body part of his to pray for his restoration/redemption and not his destruction with the Philistines.
Instead, having lost his two eyes, Samson thought in his heart that all to life was already over. His heart therefore concluded that what was left of life was suicide and his swift mouth helped him to convey that message into reality.
Samson forgot that the Holy Scripture says that every man will have whatever he says. If every man will have whatever he says, couldn’t Samson have used his mouth to request for the restoration of his two eyes.
Didn’t Samson know that for every created body part by God on earth, there is a spare part of that body part in heaven? And by simple request, there would have been a dispatch of that body part from heaven for safe delivery on earth?
But alas! I remember that I must bring this to your consciousness. That the Bible warns us to ‘mortify (destroy) the works (deeds) of the flesh. The works and deeds of the flesh are displayed by those weak parts of the flesh. When we destroy their deeds, then those body parts will not respond to satanic desires.
Note that the heart is the place where the root of sin is inhabited. It is therefore the same place where the opposite of sin should dwell if the flesh and all its deeds will be totally mortified.
Thus I admonish everyone to sow the seed of the word of God richly in that part of the body called heart (1 John 3:9, Col.3:16). If this can be effectively and continually done, success is guaranteed; speedy answers to prayers is assured; and the top position in all of our pursuits will not be denied.
IN THE END, WHERE EVERY MAN WILL BE IN THE CLASSROOM OF SUCCESS OR FAILURE OR STRUGGLING BETWEEN BOTH IN THE NEXT FIVE YEARS, TEN YEARS, TWENTY YEARS AND MORE IS A FUNCTION OF US AND OUR CONSTITUENT BODY PARTS. THE QUESTION FOR DEEP CONSIDERATION IS THIS: WHEN EVERY OTHER MAN WILL GET TO THE TOP, WILL YOU ALSO BE THERE?

O God, every falsehood spoken against Express Image, its workers, members and its goodness, be canceled now and forever, in Jesus name.
