THE BLOOD OF JESUS

At no time in the history of the world has things been this bad health-wise. It took the world by the storm, ordinary persons, presidents, kids, day-old babies, men, women of all races are attacked by what is known as corona virus disease 2019 i.e covid-19. The corona virus is at large, the world is overwhelmed and draconian measures are put in place if peradventure we could have respite. Things are getting tougher and tougher and may certainly get worse before it gets better.
For those who have their trust in Christ they have a solution in the blood of Jesus, the song writer says: “Just obey, just obey its the way God’s way…”
The night Israel was to be delivered, the instruction was put the blood on the lintel of your house, once you obeyed then he said in Exo. 12:13 “When I see the blood I will pass over you”. Not when I see you as an Israelite or as a Jew or as a Christian but when I see the blood.
If you have a feeling that you are being rejected by Christ there is nothing you can do but to tarry on and long at His feet. There is no other healer, no other way of escape, no any other one to run to but stay with Jesus Christ and plead your course. He shall have mercy on you, deliver you and heal you.
2Chronicles 7:14 says “if my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways; I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land”. There is nothing like prayer anybody may believe it or not. On the 15th day of March 2020, president Donald Trump of America declared that Sunday a day of National prayer. America prayed and God heard them and showed them that common chloroquine is the answer (cure) to the pandemic covid-19.
If they had prayed earlier than the 15th day of March maybe very many thousand in the world wouldn’t have died. The doctors said they only care but God cures.
Jesus is the great shepherd of the sheep by the everlasting covenant signed by His blood.
The blood of Jesus is the most powerful weapon that God has given to us as believers. When a BELIEVER pleads the blood of Jesus he is automatically protected from attacks of Satan and his agents. The blood of Jesus reminds Satan and demons of their defeat on the cross of Calvary.
The shedding of Christ’s blood on the cross and subsequent resurrection brought us back to God and also sealed the eternal doom of Satan and the fallen angels.
Taking Jesus to the cross remains one of the things Devil will eternally regret. 1Corithians 2:7-8 Christ’s death is the wisdom of God. If the Devil had known, he wouldn’t have killed the Lord of Glory.
The shedding of the Blood of Jesus unknowingly to the Devil was the only thing needed to seal the everlasting covenant between God and us(Hebrew:13vs 20).
Once you invoke the covenant, the Devil is disorganised, disarmed, disgraced and devastated. He made a show of them openly. Col.:2 vs 15 This is what you are doing by pleading the Blood of Jesus.
With the Blood of Jesus:
1. You are neutralizing the powers and activities of Satan, in whatever form it comes like a flood, a virus, or whichever way, a standard is lifted up against them( Isiah 59 vs 19)
2. You render him impotent, powerless and also bring shame upon him. He get jittery at the sight or hearing the Blood of Jesus.
The Blood of Jesus cannot lose its power, potency or efficacy and has no life span. The Blood of man has a life span of 120 days, the Blood of Jesus is everlasting and not perishable.
In real terms, only The Blood of Jesus has lasting values. When Heaven and Earth vanish, the redeeming power of the Blood of Jesus will continue forever. The Blood of Jesus cleanses the sinner and heals the sick. The greatest sin is to say we have no sin (1John 1 vs 8). We are at our best like a filthy rag before him.
The Blood of Jesus didn’t just cover up our sins it removes them. Its a weapon that can never lose it power.
We overcome Satan and sickness and even the Corona Virus by the Blood of Jesus. The Blood of Jesus is our lifetime weapon.
Today 75% of believers live in the 3rd world and predominantly non Christian communities and the situation is getting worse by day. At no other time do we need Blood of Jesus than now.
The whole world becomes an ant in the hand of corona virus, we need the blood of Jesus to cure and heal us and He will do it. “ with His stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53 vs5)
In the end “ I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy so prospereth”
