(Matthew 24:1-end)

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Brethren, we need to take heed for the end is near. Can we see these signs around us already? Hmmmm….verse 8 says these are the beginning of sorrows.

I was reading this scripture yesterday after reading the news about the disasters and I cried to God to please save my soul and help me to finish well and strong. The beginning of a thing does not matter brethren, it is the end that matters. 

Where will the Lord meet you on his return?

I was speaking with someone yesterday about the earthquakes, hurricanes, tropical storms and the natural disasters going on in the world today. It dawned on me that we are definitely in the last days and this is only the beginning.

How ready are you? The return of our Lord is closer than we think.

The disasters going on in the world is not for you to be fearful as a Christian, it is for you to examine yourself and dedicate your life to Holiness. To work out your own salvation with fear and trembling!

Trim your lamps brethren, check the oil in your lamp is sufficient for the return of the bridegroom. Check that you will not be needing to borrow oil when the bridegroom comes. Pay attention to these signs and continually ask that the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be sufficient for you.

Many false prophets have gone out into the world to deceive many and the devil knows his time is very short. False christs and prophets have risen already, showing great signs and wonders, deceiving many. Our Lord Jesus Christ said in Matthew 24:24b that if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect..

Watch and pray brethren. We are in the last days!

Messages on prosperity and success is not as important as where you will end up. If you fell and passed on now, will the wealth amassed take you to heaven? Will the wealth buy your entry into the pearl gates? Will it guarantee your name is written in the lamb’s book of life?

How serious are you about evangelism and soul winning, an assignment so close to the heart of our Lord Jesus Christ?

Are you busy gathering material possessions that could be blown away in a twinkle of an eye? Or are you busy chasing that big job and hoping our Lord will tarry and you will have time to repent and amend your ways before our Lord returns?

The hour of salvation is now. The time to live a Holy and righteous life is now. The time to say yes to the will of the Father is now. The time to forsake the world with all its pleasures and follow the Lord is now!

We are in the world brethren but we need to remember we are not of this world. We are here on assignment to do the will of the Father, not to get carried away with the latest fashion trend and gadgets!

Verse 13-14 of Matthew 24 reads:

But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Seek the Lord early while he may be found, call upon him while he is near. The time to be more focused on the Lord and guard your salvation more than ever is Now.

We are in the last days! How ready are you? 

Surrender all to Jesus today. Tomorrow might be too late.
