WHY DID THE LORD HAVE TO WAIT FOR FIVE YEARS BEFORE GIVING HIM HIS DESIRED MIRACLE?
It was about the climax of the winter season (that is in the month of February) in 2014 when a pastor’s telephone call came through to me. This pastor had performed a contract for a tier of government against a multi-national oil corporation for which the sum of 78 Million was due to him and his business partner.
This was back in 2009. According to the pastor, he had prayed all sorts of prayers and visited a great Man of God on the matter. Yet the lingering continued until we met in 2014. Within a very short while, the delayed money for five years was released to him with effortless ease by the grace of God.
You wonder why God didn’t do it when the big Man of God had prayed for him. Was I or am I of a greater anointing than that big Man of God? The unequivocal answer is NO!!!. So why then did the Lord wait for five years before coming to his aid?
The best answer for such an important question is the answer derivable from the question why did the Lord have to wait until Lazarus had to die and did not even turn up until Lazarus was already four days in the grave?
Understand dearly beloved that special cases require special attention for special testimony to be born. Understand also that a testimony may linger from being born because Jacob has decided to answer the name Esau (Gen.27:24). And, until Jacob declares himself to be Jacob indeed (Gen.32:27), his testimony may never appear but continue to linger. How?
In the course of my conversation with that pastor, the Lord revealed to me by His grace that the pastor had fallen into sexual immorality. I brought this to his knowledge by the grace of God. That pastor made me so glad with his response. He was honest with his admission. I was greatly encouraged by his sincerity, and immediately after his confession, the hand of the Lord came upon me and with the strength of the Lord, I prayed earnestly for him.
Oh! understand again dearly beloved, that pastor humbled himself and decided to tell the truth that he committed the sin just as Jacob did before the blessing angel. And what followed? His breakthrough could no longer be delayed.
Beloved, what is that thing standing between you and your breakthroughs? Is it sin? Hear what God is saying to you in Joshua 3:5: ‘sanctify yourselves for tomorrow will the Lord do wonders among you’. That ‘tomorrow’ begins with this coming annual Conference of the Express Image Glory Ministries.
Come to the Lord with clean hands of righteousness. This time around, it is a Conference of mercy. Miracles will happen. I declare again that miracles will happen in every way you think and do not think. And, the change we earnestly crave for will begin and never stop.
Understand dearly beloved that like Lazarus, you may have been delayed for four days, for four years, for twenty years, for more years or for less. But Lazarus case was a special case like yours and mine. It required special attention designed for a specific moment indeed because of a given spectacular purpose to shake your world, my world and the wider world.
All you need to understand is that mercy has the power not only to shorten the time of your waiting but also mercy is potent enough to end your waiting period. With the power of the Most High resident in me, I terminate the life and existence of any power or force prolonging the advent of your miracle. Let that wind of change begin in your life now.
Beloved, remember evangelism and soul-winning: it is the only assignment Christ gave to saved souls. It has got great potency to speed up the hour of breakthroughs. Be ready to spend and be spent for God. The expenditure of one’s time, energy, money and sacrifices of diverse kinds for God have a reward in due time. Again, I say, remember evangelism and soul-winning. It is a man’s service onto God that recommends him onto greatness.
IN THE END, I DECLARE A DECREE THAT BECAUSE CHRIST DIED AND BECAUSE CHRIST JESUS RESURRECTED ON THE THIRD DAY, YOUR SEASON AND MY SEASON FOR THE BURSTING FORTH OF TESTIMONIES IS JUST ABOUT TO BEGIN. WE SHALL SEE THE RAW HAND OF GOD IN POWER AND IN MANIFESTING OF MIRACLES, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.
